| Look back at 20072007 has come and gone. Not too much new and exciting has happened to me during the year. I didn't get anywhere I wanted to go, nor did I get a driver's license. I don't know what seems to be stopping me from doing such stuff. I'm still working at McDonald's and hating that of course. Also, I am now about $5000 in debt due to the fact that I had to help my mom with a lot of stuff since she isn't working now. It's very hard for me to buy stuff I want now. But next year, I'm hoping to try and get some goals accomplished. I would like to be able to get my license and then get out of McDonald's. I would also like to be able to see my girlfriend more. She lives in Dutton which is like 25 minutes away from me and neither of us drive. I did see her last night though. The last time I saw before last night was in the beginning of October. She works weekends and if she weren't working weekend's, I'd be able to see her a few times a month. Hopefully I get somewhere next year. | | |
| I want to MoveLately, it is getting to the point that I want to leave Grand Rapids, Michigan. I don't really like it here anymore and there is no work for me. I've been working in a fast food restaurant and I hate it! I want to move to Dayton, Ohio. It seems like an interesting place and would be different for me. A few problems though. 1, I don't have a vehicle or license, 2, I would need to raise about $7-10K or more so that I could buy furniture for wherever I live. If I work hard at it, I could leave by the spring of next year. I know no one would help me in this situation so this is something I have to do myself. I plan on travelling alone unless I find a nice gf that is willing to relocate with me. Hopefully I can achieve that dream. | | |

| May Leave McDonald's SoonHello Guys and Gals: Lately, I have been thinking about wanting to resign from McDonald's. One of the main reasons of why I want to resign is the fact that there is one particular employee that works that has been a problem since she started working with us at McDonald's. She has been very snotty and rude to me, tells other people bad stuff about me that I don't do and I really hate it. Because of it, I can no longer work with her if she is going to be that way. Also I just do not like a lot of the things and issues I have been hearing about as well and just want to really get out. One thing I am trying to research is if I can get unemployment benefits because when and if I do quit, it will take some time for me to find a new job. But as to what I know, I think you have to be fired in order to receive unemployment. I have also been promised a promotion and more wages and it hasn't happened yet. So I may submit my 2 week notice soon. | | |
