Why can't we kill humans?
Answer:
gearhead_gal88: It is the act of dismissing a soul you do not possess.
dreamer_mark: Because our laws are based on christian beliefs and christians believe that every living thing on earth other than humans does not have a soul. So we cannot kill humans because only humans have souls. But from the "others" point of view, killing a human is killing your own kind. As long as it isnt neccesary, it shouldnt be done.

mew2alakazam: because there is a natural bond between organisms of the same species (except maybe mating seasons) we prefer to be in groups there is a tendency to survive better with more than less, therefore, there is a natural bond that is shared, so it's unacceptable to kill human
