Daily dose of Thinspo:[below]-she is so gorgeous!
daily dose of tips:- Are you in high school? Junior or senior? Now is the time to start thinking about college. How are you going to pay for college? SCHOLARSHIPS, PELL GRANTS. They are very time consuming. Essays, teacher recommendations, forms to fill out. Make it a goal to get enough money out of scholarships to pay for 4 semesters of school. With all that time dedicated to your education, who has time to eat!
- Everyone likes snazzy jewelry. You can get it for cheap on ebay and at target and walmart. Save the money you would spend on lunch for jewelry and accessories! Nothing is better than a cute bulky ring on your slim little finger
- Get obsessed. Think about food, and calories. Think about how nasty food is and how disgusting your favorite binge food is. In a while, you won't even think of that food the same
- Get pictures of you together and make a collage out of your fatness. It'll keep you busy for a while, plus it'll be inspiration to not eat at other times! Just look at it.
- Are you in HS or MS? Take a good look at all the "perfect" girls. Take a look at all the fat girls. Which would you rather be? Then take a look at the guy that you have a crush on. You're one of the fat girls...why would he want to be with you? That should be enough to inspire you enough to fast for the whole day.
- Make it a rule that you can only eat when you're doing something disgusting, like taking a shit or cleaning the toilet. That's nasty, who wants to do that?
- Don't eat anything that you can't count out or measure the exact serving. Then cut that in half
- Plan out every meal, down to have much liquids you're going to drink. Prepare only that and then go outside of the kitchen or dining room to eat it. When you get halfway, stop, and evaluate your hunger and whether you really need it.
- Buy a small pocketsized bottle of your favorite perfume or body spray. Anytime you're tempted to eat something outside of your meal plan, spray it. You won't smell the food anymore and it won't be edible anymore.
- eat what you crave. NO REALLY! but eat it before you crave it in moderation instead of a whole chocolate cake get one of the small ones and only eat 1/2 of it. allow yourself to enjoy it. deprivation leads to bingeing
- always wear a rubber band on your wrist, when you're tempted - twang, you wont be for long
daily dose of Exercise: | Mmkay. So today I decided we would go over basic exercise techniques that don't require you to have anything except the energy to do them! Now, believe it or not, some people don't know how to do a basic crunch. Let me break it down: 1. lay down like the guy in picture. 2.using your abs and keeping your feet on the floor, bring yourself up, and repeat. |
 | another variation on the basic crunch is the "twisting crunch." it's easy and very effective.Start with lying on your back with your knees at an angle and your hands behind your head. Now bring a shoulder towards the opposite knee. Keep your head straight. Slowly return to the starting position. Repeat on other side. |
 | This is called a "butt Kickback." It's very effective at toning the bum! This butt kickback can be performed as shown by kneeling down with one leg behind your body slightly raised and bent in a 90 degree position. Now raise the leg as high as you can and slowly lower it to the starting position. |
 | This is probably looking like a crunch, but it's called a jack-knife. tones many muscles at one! This exercise can be performed with your knees bent or kept straight. Lie on a bench with your lower body not on the bench. Complete a crunch and bring your knees and shoulders together. This exercise takes a lot of balance and is great for any athlete. |

Daily dose of knowledge:Seven things i bet you didn't know about Fat Fat is a word that most of us do not want to hear on a regular basis, especially when it relates to our own bodies. We associate fat with growing beer guts, tighter pants, and less-than-ideal sex and social lives. However, fat plays a critical role in many of the processes that our bodies go through each and every day, and it has both positive and negative sides. This three-letter-word has more secrets than you know... 1. Fat cells can swell to as much as six times their minimum size When you consume more calories than you burn off, fat cells in the body swell to as much as six times their minimum size, and they begin to multiply -- from 40 billion in an average adult up to 100 billion. Everyone has fat cells; they begin to form and take shape before birth. Around the age of 16, the body's fat cells are mature, and then lifestyle and genes play a role in gaining or losing weight as you age. Fat cells are critical for survival and help assist the body's "store and management" energy system. Simply put, fat that is not used for fuel immediately is stored for later use. To that end, if you're eating high-calorie meals every day and not burning very many calories, your fat cells swell and multiply, resulting in weight gain. 2. Fat cells secrete extra estrogen Carrying a few extra pounds may also wreak havoc on your hormonal balance, leading to a variety of illnesses and health risks. Estrogen, the classified "female hormone," is a fat-storing hormone that is also naturally present in small amounts in men. But when you gain weight, estrogen levels rise and other health problems ensue. Although estrogen is necessary in men, as it regulates a healthy libido, improves brain function (especially memory) and protects the heart, when the levels are too high, testosterone levels are reduced, and many men experience fatigue, muscle tone loss, decreased sexual function, and in some cases, enlarged prostates. In other words, there are no good side effects to increased estrogen levels in men. 3. If you lose a lot of weight, your fat cells shrink, but they do not disappear Having 100 billion fat cells in your body from weight gain may sound scary. The good news is that you can still lose weight after your fat cells swell and multiply; in fact, when you lose weight, your fat cells shrink. Although their total number only decreases slightly (if at all), the cells become less metabolically active and remain in your body, waiting for you to pick up a bag of pork rinds so they can expand again. This means that it's better to try to maintain a normal weight than to gain and lose weight on fast, "quick fix" types of diets. Someone who has maintained a normal weight (i.e. has been relatively thin) all of their life will have an easier time staying at that weight than someone whose fat cells have swelled and multiplied. 4. Fat tissue attracts cells that promote inflammation Aside from the lousy way you feel when you're packing a few extra pounds, there are also internal complications that result from excess fat. Fat tissue attracts immune system cells called macrophages that promote inflammation in the body. So, if you are carrying any extra fat, your body begins to produce an immune response similar to the reaction your body exhibits when you develop the flu or have an injury. Inflammation's intended purpose in the body is to fight infection. Therefore, your body sees the extra fat calories that you consume from fried calamari and greasy pizza as an invasion in the body. But don't worry; you don't have to give up your favorite foods just yet. Studies show that decreasing your total body weight by as little as 10% (if you're overweight) can improve your health and limit the immune response that your body exhibits from the extra weight. 5. Fat cells behave differently in different parts of the body Men typically carry excess weight in the midsection; thus, if you gain weight (whether you drink beer or not), most of it will go directly to your gut first. Belly fat increases the likelihood of bad cholesterol (LDL), triggers extra fat in the bloodstream, and raises blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Furthermore, abdominal fat tends to be deeper inside the body, as opposed to hip or thigh fat, which is stored directly under the skin. Fat cells within the abdomen are metabolically more active than fat cells located in other areas of the body. They release more fatty acids, which can lead to diabetes, coronary artery disease, stroke, and certain cancers. Abdominal fat cells may also affect the healthy functioning of the liver. Unfortunately, there is no way to target weight loss in one specific area of the body (i.e. your abs). So, in order to lose your spare tire, you must exercise your entire body. The good news is that excess weight in the midsection is usually the fastest to come off during regular exercise. Why your body needs some fat, what types of fat you should eat, and more... 6. If you consume no fat at all, you will short-circuit your body If you avoid consuming any fat, you will short-circuit your body's natural system for transporting vitamins through the body and regulating cholesterol levels. As noted above, fats are critical for maintaining your body's natural processes, such as vitamin absorption and energy production. Without these particular fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K), the body cannot suitably absorb calcium, hormone production may be negatively affected, and blood may have difficulty forming and/or clotting properly. A lack of fat-soluble vitamins can lead to serious health problems, including night blindness, rickets, anemia, and internal bleeding. Furthermore, when the body cannot absorb calcium, bones can become weak and brittle. Fat -- the unsaturated type -- can also play a role in regulating cholesterol by lowering your "bad" (LDL) cholesterol levels. 7. Fat calories should only be 30% of your total daily calories Despite all of its secrets, fat is not the enemy. A certain amount of fat is needed to maintain the normal functioning of your body's internal processes. Fats aid in the absorption of certain vitamins and, above all, it provides your body with the energy it needs to function everyday. A healthy diet should take approximately 30% of its total calories from fat. However, keep in mind that fat contains twice the number of calories of a carbohydrate or protein, and that different fats are considered "healthier" than others. Saturated fat, which is derived from red meat and dairy products, tends to raise bad (LDL) cholesterol levels more than other types of fat, such as monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats found in nuts, olive oil and fatty fish. Saturated fat has also been linked to abdominal obesity, as has trans fat, which is found in many processed foods.

Daily dose of quotes:
"I wake up every day with the realization that this is it, that there's only one shot at this life and I can either enjoy the ride and live it to its fullest and to my highest potential or I can stay the way I am."
"Don't Quit! When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down, And you feel like the biggest failure in town. When you want to give up just because you gave in, and forget all about being Glamorous and thin. So What! You went over your points a bit, It's your next move that counts...So don't you quit! It's a moment of truth, it's an attitude change. It's learning the skills to get back in your range. It's telling yourself, "You've done great up till now. You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow." It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal. You're still gonna make it, just stay in control. To stumble and fall is not a disgrace, If you summon the will to get back in the race. But, often the struggler's, when loosing their grip, Just throw in the towel and continue to slip. And learn too late when the damage is done, that the race wasn't over...they still could have won. Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow, but facing each challenge will help you grow. Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint in a cloud of doubt. When you're pushing to the brink, just refuse to submit, If you bite it, you write it....But don't you quit! - Author Unknown"

Tips/Exercise/Diet/Graphics of the Day:
Tips of the day: Accept your weight/size: Your weight is not WHO you are, it does not [shape your personality], but I understand that accepting where you are right now as your starting place with a whole wide world of changes coming up may be hard, but you really need to be honest with yourself to see results and get motivated. Don't panic if your weight on the scale isn't what you want. Remember your body fluctuates throughout the day causing you to think you gained a couple pounds. But its impossible to gain one pound in a day unless you ate 3500+ calories that day - which you didn't. :) + This is supposed to decrease your temptation to indulge by 30% - Picture your favorite food in your mind. Slowly tap a line between your temples using you index finger, following motion with your eyes. Repeat a few times. Put your fork down between every bite Have some eating deadline, like no eating after six or something. This will keep your body more motivated. Keep a bin near you when you eat. If you feel you are going to over eat, throw the rest of the food away. When going out, only take out the amount of money that you'll need. Nothing extra. That way you won't be tempted to spend it on food. Carry a picture of your favorite trigger everywhere you go. Look at your favorite trigger and decide everything you like about it. Then plan out every single step it will take to get you in the exact same place. Pinch all your fat and see how disgusting it is and then you'll think that if you eat you'll just add more to it. Write your current weight on one hand, and your goal weight on the other. When you go to eat, you'll be reminded how fat you are, and how skinny you could be

Diet of the Day:
Russian Gymnast DietThis is the diet of Olympic silver medalist Irina Tschachina ( 5"6 and weighs only 99lbs!) it was such a success for her now many other Russian Gymnasts are following this diet. Here it is:
Breakfast: Glass of either orange or apple juice
Lunch: Fruit Salad (made off kiwi fruit, orange, pineapple, and peeled apples) Glass of fruit juice (from one of the above fruits)
Dinner: Glass of non carbonated water* Green apple
Anyone on this diet for 5-7 days can allegedly loose between 4 lbs-11 lbs *non carbonated means non fizzy, so like normal water.

Exercise Tips For The Day:

Ok, so I personally believe running/jogging is one of the best, cheapest way to loose weight. All you need is:
A good pair of shoes Some comfy clothes Space to run!
Yepp. But if you feel you are a beginner, here is a running workout that will help build that endurance you need Before you start your workouts, make sure you warm up properly by walking for 5-10 minutes. You should always end your workout with a cooldown. Week one: Walk for 6 minutes, then jog at an easy pace for 1 minute. Repeat 3 times. Aim for three sessions with that same sequence for week one Week two: Walk for 5 minutes, then jog for 2 minutes. Repeat 3 times. Aim to do three sessions in week two. Week three: Walk for 3 minutes, then jog for 4 minutes. Repeat 4 times. Aim for four sessions in week three. Week four: Walk for 2 minutes, then jog for 5 minutes. Repeat 4 times. Shoot for four of those sessions in week four. Week five: Walk for 2 minutes, then jog for 8 minutes. Repeat 3 times. Do four of those sessions in week five. Week six: Walk for 2 minutes, then jog for 9 minutes. Repeat 3 times. Try to do four sessions for week six. Week seven: Walk for 1 minute, then jog for 11 minutes. Repeat 3 times. Do four sessions this week. Week eight: Congratulations on making it to week eight! For your first run this week, try walking for 5 minutes to begin and end the workout, and run for 20 minutes in between. By the end of the week, try to run for 30 minutes without stopping.
Aim to run for 30 minutes four times a week, and you'll notice that your stamina and fitness will continue to improve. Soon you'll be ready to run your first 5K! Tips: Use your breathing as your guide when running. You should be able to carry on a conversation while running and your breathing shouldn't be heavy. Drink water at the end of your workouts to rehydrate. If it's hot and humid, you should also drink some water (about 4-6 ounces) halfway through your workout

Graphics:
Mmkay. So these are some word graphics that probably were not meant for weight-loss interpretation, but that is exactly what I have done. So enjoy. <3 This just sounds like me thinking of my intake and shtt.
This reminds me of "It's my body, my life, I'll do what I want."
 pretty much explains itself.
this just sounds like me story. i fell in love with fashion, fashionistas are skinny, therefore my relationship with food is eternally fxcked.
 again, pretty self explanatory.
i'd love to be this girl <33

Quotes of the Day:
"The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don't define them, or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them."
"Crystallize your goals. Make a plan for achieving them and set yourself a deadline. Then, with supreme confidence, determination and disregard for obstacles and other people's criticisms, carry out your plan"

Hey y'all! ok, ok, ok. so this entry is pretty late. but yesterday i had practice (softball) and didn't get home until 7;00 pm, which at that time all i had on my mind was "food.Sleep.Food.Sleep.AHHH HOMEWork!!!Sleep!" So here it is: THINSPO OF THE DAY:
However weak you get physically, you will always be strong emotionally.
You will be considered brave and beautiful, like a warrior girl.
People will want to see you fail, which will only force you to go further.
Being skinny will give you so much self-confidence, it will be like discovering a part of you that you never knew you had.
If you make a chair creak and you are skinny, everyone will laugh like it's the stupid chair. If you are fat, people give you dirty looks.
"I want to be envied."
A moment on the lips, forever on the hips.
Act as if failure is impossible.
It's simple: You decide once and for all you won't eat, and that's it.
Denying yourself food is not true deprivation-never being thin is.
Remeasure, reweigh, try harder, try everyday.
"I'm a teenage drama queen, I'll throw up my guts for self esteem."
The word is control.
I want to be the smallest I can possibly be.
Good habits result from resisting temptation. Tips Of The Day:
Tip Topic of the day: Ok, so i'm sure you have all been here. a family member/friend/coworker/coach/etc. is pressuring you to eat. they have made you something special, It's someone's birthday, whatever. What to do, what to do? Here are some excuses to excuse yourself. :) 1. "Oh, thank you, but I already ate at work (school, friend's house, on your way home, etc. wherever you just came from)."
2. "Well, I haven't really been feeling well today. My stomach is kind of queasy; maybe I'll just have some hot tea and see if it settles for now."
3. "Man, I've got a massive headache -- I'll just take a big glass of water and an aspirin (tylenol, ibuprofen, whatever) if you don't mind ..."
4. "Well, I had a really HUGE breakfast (lunch, snack, whatever) and I'm still full from that ... maybe later."
In ALL cases, if you are really being pressured to eat (from parents, friends, boyfriend, whomever), often nibbling a few safe bites here and there and drinking a TON of water at the table serves as a good compromise. Often they won't notice how little you are eating, or will overlook it if you combine a few "brave" nibbles with one of the excuses listed above.

QUOTES OF THE DAY:
"There are only two words that will always lead you to success.
Those words are yes and no. Undoubtedly, you’ve mastered saying yes. So start practicing saying no. Your goals depend on it!"
