OK - Taylor is by far the American Idol. Katharine's "Black Horse & the Cherry Tree" wasn't as good as the first time, and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" also paled in comparison to last week. "My Destiny" was just plain awful.

Taylor won the competition with "Living For the City". "Levon" was good - but Kat did have a better performance that round. "Are You Proud of Me" was very good. He won the competition with that song.

3. Katharine - Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Wow, I haven't updated this in a while.

Now that the SGN Music Awards are over and done - I will have a bit more time to update here. The awards went great - we had over 600 in attendance with standing room only. I've only recieved the highest praise for the show. It was really awesome.

I'm going to try to start updating WorldofCM.com every week - on Tuesdays - so be sure to check it all out.

Been cycling again and lovin' it.

Going to Disney World for vacation in June. Can't wait for that.

Thanks to all who left me birthday wishes last week. 26 is such a dang weird age. I'm not sure what to think yet.

I just did a major overhaul over at worldofcm.com - 8 new album reviews - Sanctus Real, Hawk Nelson, Passion, Kutless, Martha Munizzi, Sevenglory, Family Force 5, and my friend Leah wrote a review of the new Hillsong album.

Also updated the Feature section, Upcoming Releases, and Leah also wrote a nice devotional for April.

So the week of GMA Music Week is now over. Hallelujah. It was another absolutely crazy year with lots and lots of walking up and down hills, and smoozing with industry people, and getting more tired by the minute. I loved it. I got some interviews this week with some of my clients - The Imperials, Hope's Call, Valor, HisSong, Johnny Minick, and - believe it or not - Sunday Edition. I finally got to meet theTRu. Now my life is complete. Well, couple that with the fact that I finally got to meet Cindy Morgan this weekend.

Speaking of Cindy Morgan - next Saturday (my birthday might I add) - Cindy is playing at Opry Mills for FREE. w0t MAN w/e

Now - however - I get to start work again - and that's never fun.

The SGN Music Awards Celebration is less than three weeks away. I will be very happy when that one is done. Really all we have left to do is work out our multimedia stuff and work on preparing the green room. Its going to be very very awesome.

Tonight is King Kong Movie night with my Pastor and his wife. I can't wait. We made plans for this long before the DVD came out to rent it and watch it on their huge projector screen.

THEN, on Friday, we're all going out for my birthday - because my birthday falls on the Saturday before Easter, so we're celebrating it this coming weekend when we don't have anything pressing for Sunday. We're going out to eat at the Mellow Mushroom - a great little pizzeria place that I used to go to all the time in Chattanooga. I just now found out that they have three of them here in the Nashville area, and one in the town I live in. That's crazy. Anways, after that - we're going to go watch Ice Age 2. It will be fun.

Well I must get going.

Other than performances from Chris, Katharine, and Taylor - I was pretty underwhelmed tonight. Even my boy Elliott and my girl Mandisa failed to really deliver in my eyes.

I mean - there were no excruciating performances, other than Kellie, tonight, but everything was just kind of there. Melissa was shaky - and Bucky surprised me with a decent performance.

My thoughts...

The ladies:

A tad better this week than last, but not by much. Mandisa was the best performer of the night, but even she hit a couple of bad notes. Paris disappointed, but only slightly. I've never been a fan of Katharine, but this week she did bring it, and was definitely in the Top 3. Lisa, Ayla, and Kellie all need to go. They are out of their leagues. I absolutely love Melissa's voice, but I don't think she has much of a shot to make the Top 12. Kinnick should have no problem being the least vote getter.

3. Katharine
4. Melissa
5. Lisa
6. Ayla
7. Kellie
8. Kinnick

Going home: Melissa and Kinnick. (If this is true, than my original top 6 girl predictions will be correct)

The guys:

Once again - for a third week in a row - the guys absolutely outdid the girls. Gedeon, Elliott, Chris, and Ace continue to have great nights, and even Kevin and Bucky pulled out pretty decent performances. Taylor absolutely stole the show though. Despite his spastic stage presence, his vocals were spot on. First time since the Hollywood auditions that I was thoroughly impressed with his vocals. Will was easily the worst of the night - but he was still on pitch and did better than the majority of the girls.

3. Gedeon
4. Chris
5. Ace
6. Kevin
7. Bucky
