Back on Xanga

Offline Again?
I've recently noticed a trend in computing, for the longest time it seemed like all applications were going to be web based off servers. Now oddly enough, everyone is focusing on taking these online server based apps offline again. Such an odd cycle, desktop apps, then online apps, now we're back to desktop apps again. It seems like eventually all programs will be run off the browser, I bet in the future OSes will just be modifed web browsers.

There's no logic to what happened at Virginia Tech and I feel a lot of sympathy for the students and family affected. But I hate how media spun one of the first attributes of the homicidal maniac, that he was asian and i can't complete my thoughts at work so i'll finish them later.

Dad's Visit
So my dad flew out to Ca to do some work @ the San Fran mint. And I showed him around Google/Stanford a little bit.

Yes that is a T-Rex, I have no idea why we have it on campus, if anything we should have an 800 pound gorilla. :D
Stanford-hopefully my future Bschool, the campus is beautiful.
