Saturday, July 12, 2008 Have anyone seen the movie "It's a boy girl thing"? It's not a typical high school movie with tonnes of funny nasty dialogues or packed with sex crazed scenes that I would look forward to, naturally. It's about mind/body swapping between a football dude and a (not-at-all-convincing-but-if-you-say-so) nerdy looking dudette, and some 20ish actors/actresses playing high school kids. (Still better than Beverly Hill 90210 the TV series which had 30ish playing teenage kids.) But this movie is not just a boy-girl thing. Actually it's pretty deep. The worries of the two, the details into the mind/body conflicts, and some of the lines are quite philosophical, too. But what's unrealistic though is that when you cross a gorgeous sissy-looking football player with a girl mind, acting like a fag and not getting beat up by his peer. It's also unrealistic when the girl within the boy's body is beating up this latino basketball dude for the boy within the girl's body, and the boy within the girl's body is trying to teach the girl within the boy's body how to throw a sprial and win the homecoming game MEANWHILE no one ever suspects anything going on between this odd couple UNTIL the end of the homecoming dance. This obviously had been overlooked. Otherwise, I mean, it's quite natural for a mexican statue at the museum to breathe out fog on the arguing high school kids underneath and swap their bodies overnight. I've been thinking throughout the movie this cute synapsis high school couple lives together happliy ever after and transforms into Al Bundy and Peggy Bundy in "Married with children" - and Al's most pride was: I played high school football... Monday, June 9, 2008 I have just left my secondary school for 17 years. When I check on the school website, I don't see any teachers I know from before. Only 17 years. Can't anyone of them teach just 17 more lousy years for me to spot out from the photo gallery? Friday, June 27, 2008 初中音樂老師莊表康逝世了，我是兩個多月後才於facebook悼念莊Sir的群組得悉此事；而可以做的，除了馬上join了此group及試圖上載那張三年前校友日不情之請的合照以外，好像就只能思想上呆立著－畢竟葬禮已過，入土為安－就只能藉機緬懷一下莊Sir：他是寧波人(因他曾強調自己並非上海人)，聽說有過前妻，也試過跳樓，傳奇得很。當年帶有口音的早會和PA System開咪的好笑情節(當時當然只有我們同學在笑)，還有在課堂上領我們唱著像《松花江上》這樣的愛國歌曲，但也有唱過繁星流動的《朋友》，這一切仍歷歷在目。願莊Sir此刻也嘴角含笑，用他獨特的數拍子為我們營營役役的生活打氣：一半半一兩～三～半半半一半四～三...... 三年前的預拍悼念特輯 http://www.xanga.com/pepepetererer/386347891/item.html |
