nothing b/c everything happens for a reason. hmm however i wish i did go to ucm this year tho =T

one day in mid 2006, it was around...err.. mid May, i was driving home from school.  i came to a four way stop as i always do.  the thing w/ this 4 way stop is that people who approach it are usually pretty much in a hurry and don't show manners to the right of way.  well on this sunny May day, i came to it and i was the only car in all of the 4 stops.  when i came to my stop, i checked left, right and left again. i swear i saw nor heard any signs of an on comming car whatsoever. it was dead silent, it was pretty nice actually.  just listened to the smooth soothing sounds of the whispers that the wind was sending to my ears. i stepped on the gas to make a left and all of a sudden, i heard a raging engine from my left side and it was within inches of hitting my side door.  as soon as i saw/heard it, i stepped on the gas and tried to avoid it as much as possible, fortunately, the car hit my back side bumper.  i didn't get hurt, but i was pretty shuck up from it. sometimes i'm pretty grateful that i didn't get hit and physically and mentally, i'm ok.  it's kinda like i cheated death/injury in a way. when times get rough and just plain bad for me, i think of that time when i got hit.  

sometimes i think i wish i waited at the stop sign just a few seconds longer...if i did, i could have been hit by the car directly towards me and nothing else. i wish it did hit me so that i wouldn't be such a bother to my parents and the rest of my family...that could have been my chance to just disappear and prevent all the disappointments that i am now sending to my family...

sometimes i wish i was hit and i could be gone right now.......

Freshman year at UC Merced, 2006-2007, had it's ups and downs.  With all of its papers needed to be written, labs that needed to be turned in, and tiring food from the Dining Commons, it may seem that it was "blah" and it was but i absolutely love the people that I met there and i would not go back and change one thing about it....ok maybe a grade here or there hehe but other than that, i love my freshman year experience ^_^
