helloooooooooooooo so its been two weeks since i came back to america. im havin a hard time gettin hours at work so im lookin around for jobs kinda, and the rest of the time i been out or  partying.. gotta enjoy the rest of summer!

well i finally uploaded my studios from shanghai.  here they go!

Damn, i SOOOOOOOOOOO dont want to leave shanghai.  i feel like this is my home now, or like i'm leaving and going away to colelge or something.  i think i might cry tomorrow when i have to say goodbye.. how lame is that?  well here's the rest of the pictures. 

went to the hyatt the other night for buffet.  hyatt ist he tallest bldg in asia.  the buffet ison teh 52nd floor. heres the view!

then the day after we went to nan jing road, famous.  ate shao loong baos there, awesome. we stopped by mcdonalds so the girl could get a snack

i think i told you guys about a SMALL ( by shanghai standards) shopping ctr by the community.  here it is. 

today ( my last day ) onthe way to pick up my studios  which turned out great by the way

and went to a sushi place in the mall ( cuz i lvoe sushi) and its so popular that there was aline outside.

and last but not least im sure you guys wana know what happened to my hair.. so BAMN!

the hair came out GORGEOUS.  well, i really like it at least.  the stylist was way way cool he said he wouldnt straighten it becuase it would become damaged.  and he didnt want me to do that. 

so its red with blonde streaks, but the blonde kinda mixes in.  guess it'll show up after my hair fades to brown! 

I LOVE SHANGHAI.  hopefully you guys could see why through the pictures. 

best summer vacation ever - and i thougt it would be scary being here by myself and all.  well , at least not with anyone i knew.  ( my aunt is not really my aunt)

anyway im packed and ready to go. i left all of my clothes behind and my luggage is packed already ;/

oh yeah teh other day i bought a pair of pants and a pair of shorts for 80 US dollars. found this european brand called only and i totally love their style.  that shit was expensive though, more than i'd spent on pants back at home.  oh wells i like what i bought, and i used my debit card and it WORKED!  crazyness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont want to leave!!! flying out in less than 12 hours!  the plane ride is going to suck. coming back to SF is going ot suck.

hello all!  i'm really starting to LOVE shanghai!  i especially love the radio stations here, they play EVERYTHING including my favorite taiwanese pop music :)  getting used to the heat, doesnt bother me anymore.  i'm really considering living in Shanghai one day, or at least somewhere in CHINA.  this is sooo weird right?  me of all people!!  anyway i have some more pix for you guys...

i'm going to share my favorite and most frequented areas of the house.

and yesterday was one of the grandmas' birthdays..

before this we went to a super huge mall.. 8 floors.. and 3 levels of parking underground..

and then on the top floor thers a skating rink..

and we went ice skaating!!

yay what fun, made me want to go snowboarding again. ReAL REAL BAD!

and then the day before that we went to the zoo.  i met a giraffe.

we also saw a sealion show !

the zoo was fun, very different from SF but a whole fucking shitload of mosquitos.. i got more than 10 bites in 2 hours.

yeah, i've been having loads of fun as you can see.  i had my period for two days and it sucked ass.  period + heat = no no.  luckily it only lasted 3 days and now i'm FREEEEEE :)  i made an appointment to re layer, dye red, streak blonde, then straighten my hair on wednesday.  saw the salo and i like it, they have a book of hairstyles so i already chose the one i want.  it's about to be AWESOME!  i went to the supermarket today and bought like 12 mandarin music CD's.  i'm really gonna miss the radio stations here.. theyre so perfect ; / 

i'm kinda DREADING the return to SF.  i really want to stay here.  sucks.  will have some more pics before the end of my trip, so those will be in the next update.  gosh i only have 9 days left!  i think im going to the nightclubs next weekend.  im not sure what else is in store this week besides my hair.   icant wait to pick up my studios!  oh yeah i bought a pair of shoes.  they were regular 450 yuan but i got them for half price ($30 USD).  i know kinda expensive right?  but i dont fit any of the other shoes here and the cheap ones are HELLA HURT.  everythings goign by so fast.  im gonna miss the music, the food, the life.  oh well i hope you guys enjoy the pictures while i enjoy my last week! 

so i'll make my entry more interesting by showing while telling. 

it was too hot to go to wu shi for the weekend.  so instead we went huang zhou.  3 hour drive.

this my friends, is a car wash center in a shopping garage.  get your car washed and polished while

you shop all for 10 yuan.  about $1.50 what a deal!

went to an awesome restaurant called WAHAHA :) nice name right?

the food was so delicious.  the decor was so beautiful ihad to take pictures.

so yeah i had a great weekend.  huang zhou is a beautiful city.  my hotel room was totally nice and i had my own double so i switched beds when i got too hot haha.  i watched THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE on hbo what an awesome movie!  the drive back sucked, not too fond of long car rides with young children haha but it's okay, she's cute. 

monday didnt do anything.  tuesday went to take my studio portraits.  it was an awesome studio i must say.  professional, lots of stylists and photographers, very busy, a lot of clothes (even though they were all hela fob) and good service.  i met a girl there and she helped me translate for a little bit.  she also offered to take me out to see the nightlife in shanghai (she speaks english, studying in Canada) and she gave me her number.  not sure if i'm going to call her but it was a cool experience and nice company for the day! 

i took pictures for EIGHT HOURS!!!!  four outfit changes.  it was really hard to find outfits i liked.  i did an amazon woman outfit, a trendy outfit with booty shorts a halter and a see thru poncho, a princess dress, and a traditional qi pao.  there were multiple rooms with diff backgrounds really nice place and the stylist area looked liek a real salon!  my stylist and photographer were REALLY cool they hella took care of me because i dont speak chinese and all so they brought me every where and showed me what to do. awesome experience.  i couldnt speak chinese so my photographer had to show me how to pose by posing first.  and he had to like move his hips and stick his butt out ahahahah and me and the assisstant were hella cracking up and the photographer was hella laughing too omg it was soo funnayyyyyy!!!!!!!

then today i went to check out my pics. they had just been uploaded and werent edited yet but OMG THEY WERE ALL PERFECT!!! i hella love my pictures, they're so beautiful!!! the girl told me im really lucky because the photographer that i got is the director of the studio and he only takes pictures by special appointment!!! (explains why he had an assistant and no one else did).  turns out that photographer shot a HUNDRED AND SIXTY pictures total.  and for my original package i could only choose 18 pictures to put in my album.  when i got down to 60 pictures i couldnt delete anymore!!  so i ended up buying a whole extra package with a bigger album and a total of 44 pictures.  now i get two posters.  omg.  i hella love the pics!!! the photographer and the stylist did such a GREAT JOB! i ended up paying damn near $300, yes that's USD.  but i think it was worth it cuz im hella satisfied!!!

then after dinner i went to the mall near the community.  i wanted to try on the shoes i was eyeing last time.  they have such CUTE heels here but guess what, my feet are TOO FAT.  i dont know why the shoes here are so NARROW!!!!!!!!!! i tried on like 20 pairs of shoes today even regular flat shoes and my fat feet hang over the sides!!!! nooooooO!!! i guess my plan for buying shoes galore has gone bust.  just like my plan for buying clothes galore.  oh well, i already spent more than 200 on pictures haha. 

so i'm gonna spend the rest of my money on my hair. next next week i'm planning to cut, dye, highlight, then straighten.  not sure what colors though... any suggestions??

hello everyone!  my first week in shanghai is finally up.  the plane ride was horrible.. WAY too long 14 hours?  but i like airplane food! it's pretty good :)  when i first got here, i was pretty uncomfortable and unhappy just telling myself "only 28 more days" hahahaha but now i'm having a good time.  i'm staying with my mom's friend, who i call aunt for the sake of simplicity.  my aunt and her husband and her 6 year old daughter, and the maids.  the little girl is sooo cute! we draw each other pictures and watch winnie the pooh together.  and we play monopoly and color together.
