| Commencement of the School yeari have embarked on the 3rd year of my college career. Things are going more for the better than previous years and i'd have to say that I'm quite impressed, although i am still not living up to the full potential as to what i could be, but that's besides the point. so much going on. church. fellowship. pre-dental society. getting involved. TASA. QT's and maybe some of those cutiesss. ahhaha jk staying on top of ORGO. everythin' is quite hectic although i can still find myself in a state of tranquility. i am utterly happy as to how i've started and want to pray that i'd continue to go down this path of success and not digress for I do not know what lies beyond the path besides the thickets. This my first update is forever and a day but that's it for now. more to update about in the near future.

| Winter vaction thus far 2006I've finally came upon a decision and you are looking one of the numerous junior counselors that is serving at ODPC's winter retreat. I have been showered with blessings from ODPC/KOPC Youth group ever since I pretty much officially joined in the 8-9th grade time frame. The old heads have invested a lot of time into me and I feel like it's time to give back and hopefully have a profound impact on the lives of the individuals that are lucky enough to have been grouped w/ me hahaha, jk, that I am lucky to be in unison with.
So far this break: I've landed one job task from the Temp Agency that I am associated with. Pretty much working full time for the duration of an entire week, not too shabby. Second job which I know might be surely awe-struck about. Landed a job this past weekend with the company that owns Abercrombie & Fitch, with the exception that I am working for the more upscale, giving off an opulent feeling store AKA Ruehl 925 The store's ambiance is directed towards giving that classy, urban Greenwhich New York style type-of-a feeling. I love it. The dim lights, intimidating black gates in the storefront, the multiple, yet distinct rooms incorporated into the store layout, the $300 dollar leather bags( i thought was pretty outrageous) but apparently all hand-stitched in Italy where high-roller brands like Prada bags are made as well, the workers there are fun to work with, easy going, down to earth, OLDER OLDER like 22+, and did i mention that they're all really good looking? I'm not going to lie.
i get my what's it calle AAA discount or something of that sort, the color that they are trying to promote for the spring season is GRAY+WHITE with double layers for guys i believe and 2-3+ layers for girls, and the girls have barely touching knee length shorts that make be rolled up a couple times to give off that certain look. Essentially, store associates are only permitted to wear these colors and the guidelines as far as what shoes to wear is limited to only netural colored Converse ALl-star chucks and sandals are Rainbow sandals, which luckily i brought both of them from California but both have not been worn ever, I guess it's the best time to start wearing them.
Quite the extended entry about my selected job. ahhhaa. The worst part about it is the pay, I am not going to lie but they are quite the smart company with keen foresight and business skills. I thought to myself or tricked myself into believing that since Ruehl is an upscale version of A&F they would be paying more than it like potentially $8+, boy was I wrong in that aspect. *After getting hired and during training, oh yeah how much do we get per hour again $6.25," !!!!!!"oh.... what theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee heckk"(thinking to myself), "that's why we are flexible and you only really have to work 5 hours a week and could find other jobs!" i was like that's insane. This company gives you discount on the clothes, even though it's expensive enough, pays you almost minimal wage, and when you buy the clothes you essentially invest it back into the company to keep it running while they make bank and you just spend the money that you made, which is not very much into the company. Well put. I'd say
The Ruehl is moving back to the "OLD RUEHL." The Ruehl as it is today is basically the more pricer version of A&F and with the Ruehl logo as well. So people find themselves asking why pay more bucks when I can just go to A&F and get the same exact merchandise but for the lower price. Essentially because of this, Ruehl is moving back to the Old Ruehl and it's geared towards the older generation such as graduating college and young adults. Also they will bring back the BLACK as you do not see it on the floor of A&F or even Ruehl right now.
One of my co-workers is BALLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN' as she's dated numerous football stars such as Larry Johnson, fellow Redskin Champ Bailey alike, and meeting celebrities such as power-house rap star Jay-Z. 5' 10", slender figured, HUGGIN sa rangg, light-skinned. Did i mentioned that every looks like models? hahaha. overstating the fact of the matter.
Wow. am I ranting about my work or what.
Tasks accomplished thus far:
Met up w/ Jean Chungggie to watch Pursuit of Happiness. I would highly recommend this movie because not only is a film that Will Smith typically is not associated with but the storyline, how it is played, the actins is only perfected with superior marks.
Met up w/ Renata Kang, Ayoung, Sylva, dongg, jay to build some gingerbrea housess it was quite the adventure. I on the other hand as well as the other namjahs just sat back and watched as the yuhjahs attempted to make the best Gingerbread house ever, quite the krazyness.
I want to go NY or Chicago for new years, what would you recommend? holler. let's chillll

| SUMMER experiencethis summer has been full of experiences that have definately enhanced my view about not only myself but of the world. I have tried and tested new things that I thought would never be feasible and have either succeeded or failed in the making, but all-in-all it's an experience that leaves an indelible mark that I will be able to use throughout all aspects of my life: work, play, religion, etc. Summer experiences starts with a road trip cross-nation all the way out from Ca-li-4-ni-a traveling through the south west part of the country through new mexico, nevada, arkansas, texas, oklahoma, all the way to desired destination of Tennessee, but can I ask just mere question is this tennesee becuase you're the only TEN....I-see blush: . I gave up numerous opportunities and experiences to be able to participate in an internship/program known as "Southwestern." Southwestern is a publishing company based out of tennesse that I solely chose to work with this summer, selling educational materials directly to consumers using pre-approach tactics to be able to find them. Basically it does not really sound as appealing as I describe it, essentially it was selling books door-to-door-to-door, did i mention anything about doors? I've learned to persevere through many obstacles and road blocks that might impede one's way. Our work week consisted of 78+ hours a week or 80+/week depending on what route you'd like to take. A typical day consists of waking up at 6, going to breakfast HOT SPOT @ 7, knocking on first door by 7:59am and ending day by like 9:00pm or 9:30pm for 80+hour work week. Thinking about the entire day at a time, it seems as getting by the day would be insurmountable but one thing i learned is just to break it down into goal periods first one being 3 hours followed by 2-hour ones. By accomplishing mini-goals, I will be able to achieve the overall HERCULIAN goal!!! you feel me? I have definately built a lot of confidence through this job, before I would be scared pantless approaching people I do not know rather and even older folks such as parents and grandparents, but through this hardship I was able to build up my confidence, which is a skilful trait for the club scene. hahah. Being able to go up to random girls and mereley asking them to dance rather than straight up dancing hahah. So hopefully if i am put to the test i will Ace it hahah. But also i'd say one of the most difficult and trying parts of the job would have to be the dealing with the REJECTION. Rejection is not only a word but an entity that prevents numerous people from accomplishing their aspirations, something that comes from fear, something that isn't TOo nice. Think about it: would not apply to a certain place beause you are afraid that you will be rejected, not asking someone out to dinner (to holler) hahah jk because you are afraid of being rejected, act a certain way because you do not want to be rejected. Something that is ultimately and extremely HARD to deal with. But knocking door after door after door I was able to toughen my skin and be able to just learn to get the emotions out of head and just like i used to say "STRAIGHT UP, no SHAME!!!" holllerrr. I was able to learn a lot about God and his grace and all his wonderful gifts through this job. My work ethic was horrendous growing up through high school and even my initial year coming out to the undergraduate education. Always putting my assignments away like wine, letting them age 'til their expiration date says that something has to be done w/ them and always putting my QT's on the side. Throughout this job i was getting ownedd hardd, and i mean hardd, so I was able to definately grow closer in my walk w/ God and able to read my bible and just get that much needed spiritual milk. Thank God for this job. Similiarly, if I want to achieve something that bad in my life i will do everything to be able to achieve that and this job has definately showed me that I have to do that in order to get what I want. Another big part would be goal setting in that you must write down your goals and have someone that will keep your accountable. Top 5% of the most wealthiest people have goals and write them down. Top 2% of the wealthiest people have goals, write them down, and have people that keep them accountable, which really shows a lot, not have accountability partners is crucially hard to be able to stay on track because one will always have distractions that flash right in front of his/her face whether one likes it or not, it's deemed inevitable.
All in all, i got a lot definately out of this program, it's just that I should've fought harder, re-focused, and to have endured throughout the entire program, but what can I say, I at least some products door-to-door, I can definately say that w/ confidence and being decisive w/ my decisions and being able to know what I want-- definately a characteristic that not easy to acquire.
T minus four weeks until school startsssss what does that meannnnn,
I'm coming down to either of these JMU, UVA, V-tech, VCU to say wassup to all my 朋友 and my 친구 HOLLER. Depending if time permits i will have strategically pick which one i should go to. Any input?
