| The Demon Barber of Fleet StreetI saw Sweeny Todd today, and what a marvelously dark and tragic comedy. It was pretty amazing and also a musical. You should see it, but only if you don't mind graphic blood. It's for reasons like that that I can't wait to do more films. Bah! let me at 'em!

| Seatbelts are good. So, today, I was riding back from a visit to athens with jess in this crappy weather. We go to pass a double-trailer semi truck, but as we pull ahead of it the car hits a patch of slush on the road. The car begins to slide in the left lane and ends up crossing in front of the semi and hits the barrier on the side of the road, almost at a 90 degree angle. You think that's it, but a split second later and BAM the semi truck clips the back of the car, spinning us 90 degrees to end up facing the wrong way down the highway and two semi truck trailers headed straight for us. Some more loud and metal crashing things go down, most of which happen too fast and with an airbag in my face, and we end up resting up against the metal barrier, the semi truck 100 yards down the road with a tipped-over trailer.
Yeah, we got into a car accident, and it was intense. No one was hurt, but I've never been hit by that much force in my life. It feels about the same as it looks on the car commercials where the people are having fun in a car and get blindsided. All I can say is thank god there are seatbelts; I didn't even hit the airbag with my face because it held me nice and tight. you can see pictures here:

| The Fall SeasonI know I just made a post like 5 days ago... but I have thoughts I'd like to put down.
Fall is finally almost here. After a god-awful weekend of 90 degree temperatures in OCTOBER (thank you global warming) it will be in the 60s. I cannot wait.
And now, it's time for me to make my requisite post about how vivid fall is for me, I've made one every year since I graduated highschool. It always brings back memories, mostly of band. Contests in 50 degree weather and still sweating under the uniform, only to freeze on the trip back home. Catching the colors of the leaves slip by as I look out the window. The football games and performing under the lights. And of course, non-band memories, hanging out with friends I haven't seen or really spoken to in a year or more, playing cards, all-night halo parties (Those still happen!). Trips with the family hiking. All of it really good memories. The great thing about the mind is it erases the bad memories.
I would really like to travel, and not just out west again. I want to go overseas, like back to London or France. Every once and a while I think how awesome it would be to get paid to travel across the world to take pictures or video. The only way I can think of that happening for me is through the military, and I don't really see that happening...
One final note, if you would like to see some video clips of the movie I've been filming for the past couple weekends, you can go to housemates.arasian.com/ and click the media link at the top of the page. Oh, and the band Ratatat is pretty awesome.
