| so apparently its time for an update (i know you all care deeply about
my oh so eventful life). if i wasnt avoiding studying or cleaning you
probably wouldnt be so fortunate as to hear about it.
College life is getting better by the moment. this weekend was
parents weekend so that was fun. my parents came in sat afternoon
and had lunch with my brother and me and then went to the game.
we went to my grandparents today after church for lunch with them and
some of my cousins so that was a good time. i love having family
so close. i may stay pretty busy most of the time but its good to know
that they are there and its a fun and a great little escape.
Everyone always says that you learn a lot about yourself while in
college and how right they are. i always thought i had a grip on
who i was and knew a fair number of my stats but ive been proven
wrong. but the kinda bummer news is that you have to work and
pray and be open to get the info. you have to realize that you
dont yet know who you are but its going to be awesome when you do.
lucky for me i love learning.. i love learning stuff that i think is
interesting and/or important so in this case its not such a struggle to
do it and it for sure is interesting and a little mind boggling at
times how well God knows me (i mean he kind of is the creator and all
but still) and just guides you to who he made you to be. and im not
even close to that yet which is even cooler then to think that there is
room to grow. im boggled and stocked and love every minute of it!

| i worked out today and then went and got fat at chilis... gotta love it! 
I dunno who else is excited about the OC tomorrow but you all should be!
i just finished watching season two again so im pretty pumped!

| disregard any of my entries that you have read in the past. we
are starting over with a black slate, a new canvas if you will.
im done with the negativity. im here. im gonna live it up. im gonna
love it. but from this point on im giving it up. its not about me and
so far it feels wonderful. thank you for listening and thanks so
much to you guys for the positive comments they totally made me
smile....

| gotta keep on with the positive stuff otherwise it all gets way overwhelming
- its wednesday (down hill sliding from here)
- church tonight (dunno where yet, still working on the "home" thing but its a step)
- one more class today
- our room is clean
thats kinda a short list- maybe i shoulda gone without the bullets. o
well keep on keepin on and feel free to help me lengthen my list.

| for those concerned, things are getting a lot better. yesterday
may have been the most enjoyable day here. i finished classes at 11 (my
fridays are great!). i came back to my room to studied and made a
pbj sandwich. after a few chapters of chem gigi called to see if
i wanted to go run some errands with her and i was all over that; a)i
love gigi b)i can only take so much studying. so we went around
for a couple hours looking for warmth that she could take to scotland
(hard to find at the hottest time of year in texas but we did alright).
later we went to grants and gig and grant jamed for a while. then went
to dinner with anne and her roomie. we ended up at one of gigi
anne and sheryls friends house where some of my friends were so that
was kinda random/fun. i got back and to an empty room cuz julie
went home for the weekend so i went down to my friends abby and staci's
room and we had a fun little sleepover!
