I have opened another site at www.revelife.com. I want to do some more writing and thought I would use this for just general sharing and writing more on this site. I also feel like I have entered into a more peaceful state of life an feel I am not longer a piecefulgurl2b but a peasfullgurl.

The Word Is........... Drum Role Please

Well in May I turn 40 and I graduate from college. Now I plan on getting my Masters and PhD but it is also time to pay the piper for the first degree. It has been almost 3 years since I had a full time job. Well unless you call being a full time wife, part time mom, full time student, part time writing/reading tutor, part time teaching assistant and part time assistant not working full time. Anyway I haven't had a day in day out routine.

I have applied for Teach for America. I made it past the first rounds and have a phone interview on Saturday. There is also a possibility that one of my part time jobs could turn into a full time opportunity. I never thought that this would be a possibility. One would mean I can't start my Masters for a year and the other one well there are so many good things about that one I am afraid to jinx it by talking about it. But one would guarantee a job for life anywhere in the world. One would be a great opportunity to work while I pursue my eventual goal of being a college professor.

By my very nature I can be very impulsive and waiting and watching the plan role out in front of me is truly humbling. I have been so blessed. I never dreamed I would finish college, make it to 40 and have so many opportunities in my future.

Oh and speaking of future... not to scare you mom but Brent and I are talking about wanting to adopt a sibling group with in 3-5 years. Now realistically we also have to see how feasible that is with both of us trying to get our PhD..
