| Class is so boring. I have the easiest schedule and I'm always bored in school. So here I am, and I've decided to update you on my life. So this weekend I went to Mesquite, Nevada. I was there for a softball tournament. There were so many scouts there including USU (Utah State), Dixie State College, UVSC (Utah Valley State College), and SUU (Southern Utah). There were others of course! There were scouts from Nevada, Idaho, and Utah mostly. Well, my team.. Utah Styx, played on saturday morning at 8 am. That was our first game. We played our two pool games and lost both of them by one. We played the warriors and the magic. I hate that team with a freakin' passion. Well, then we played the comets and won (9-0) and then lost to the lil' rebels from Las Vegas. They get to practice year round so i wasn't too disappointed. They were a good team who has been together forever. My team hasn't practiced together and we just decided to come down and play. It was great. Well then we played sunday, yes a sunday! That would never happen in Utah!! well, so we played at 8 am again. We won the first game( Panthers) and then the second game ( Pony Express from Colorado). Sadly we lost the third game (Renegades (1-0)). We shouldn't have lost. We had that team. We left so many people on base. We made some mistakes too, but it's okay! It was bound to happen. Well, I'm pretty happy with my performace. I didn't do too bad. As a whole team, we played pretty good. Good enough to get scouted. Our pitcher got an offer to play at a school in Idaho, our first baseman got an offer at Dixie State and I even got an offer. Yes, me! I got an offer to play softball in college. I'm so happy! This is what I've been working for and things are finally falling into place. We'll see what happens though with the other schools. Utah State was there, I saw the coaches at a couple of my games! They sat through the whole second game on sunday! I played dang good that game, at second base! I played third base this weekend too, I did good for not playing there since last year! Well, that's my life right now! So now, UVSC is one of my college choices!! We'll see what happens! cross your fingers for me! | | |
| College is soon coming. How crazy is that? I'm a senior and high school is almost over. Graduation is in less than 5 months. Well, I've got all my acceptance letters. Now, all I have to do it make my decision. This is going to be a way hard decision. My top three choices are: Towson University, Maryland
St. Joseph's College, Indiana
Utah State University, Utah
I've narrowed it down to these three schools and now I have to pick one. I know I have until May but still it's a tough decision. All these schools have way good programs, or so I've heard. Let's anaylize each school... ready, go!
Towson is an awesome school, from what i remember.I went there once in like 7th grade. I have a chance of playing college softball there. Also, they have a good nursing program. The main reason I wanted to go to Towson is because of #1- softball, and #2- I'd be close to all my old friends and the things I miss. I loved good ol' MD. I always wanted to go back, and now here's my chance. The only bad thing is the cost. I'd have to pay out-of-state tuition and I don't have a scholarship as of yet. That's a lot of money.
St. Joseph's is a good school that is in a nice area. It's like a big park, but it's a school. It's a private school. I have a chance of playing softball there too, but they are a D-2 school. D-1 is the highet division. Well, if I played softball I wouldn't be able to do nursing. So i'd have to change my major, which isn't too much of a big deal but it's all good. I also have a scholarship there worth $10,000 per year. I'm competiting for a full tution scholarship. Exciting!! Well, also I don't know anyone there, which could be a good thing but also a bad thing. I'd meet new people but then I'd be kinda lonely don't ya think?
Then there is Utah State, most of my friends are going there. I know so many people there already so it would be way fun! Also, there is a great chance of me playing there. I really want to play there. The coaches and girls are so awesome! They are D-1. They get to play UCLA and Texas A&M. It's so cool. Well, I'd be close to home and to all my friends here. I'd still meet new people from other states and stuff, but it's not too much of an adventure. I wouldn't really be moving away. It's an hour-hour 1/2 away from my house.
Help me pick one. Tell me what you guys think!! It'll help me make my decision! I guess I'm really getting older,it's so crazy!! Yay, seniors!!

| It's the start of second semester at good ol' Northridge. The year is half way over.....and I'm so excited. I'm a senior this year and I'm graduating in June. It's going to be so great. I can't wait!! The only bad thing is that I don't want to grow up. There's so much responsiblility that comes with growing up. It's not that I can't handle it either because I'm totally capable of taking care of me. It's just that I don't want to. Growing up is over- rated. I remember when I was like 13 and I use to look up to all my friends wish that I was as cool as them when i grew up and was a teenager. Now, I'm there. I'm having such a great time being me and being older.. but I'm just a little kid still.
It's so scary to think that next year I'll be in college and on my own. Sure, I'll come home for holidays and stuff (cuz I am definitley not living at home) but it won't be the same. Life is changing and I can't stop it. I've finally came to that conclusion. No matter what i do, I can't stop time. It's not possible. I just wish I was here, in this time period for a little while longer. I'm perfectly content with who I am right now, and what I'm doing at this moment in time. Why does it have to change? Answer me that one! | | |
| This weekend was the Utah State University softball camp. I loved it. I got to meet the USU softball team, the coaches, and some other girls that play softball. It was way fun. On saturday, we did defense (fielding). I learned some stuff. The stuff that will help me be a better player. I even got an autographed picture of Leah O'Brien-Amico. For all you who don't know who she is.. she was on the 2004 USA Gold Medalist Softball Team. Then sunday (today) we did offense(hitting and running). We did way a lot. hopefully this year my batting average will go up. I sure hope so. Well, it was just so much even ran against one of the fastest girl on the team, and I won. I won. That was so great for me because I ran against someone older than me and with more experience than me.. She's a college player.. hello. Well, i learned a lot that will help my hitting a lot, so fun. I got to get to know the coaches too and they got to see me play. They watched me race their player and I think they liked what they saw. It was great. Hopefully, i'll get a scholarship out of this whole thing. My fingers are crossed. Now that this whole thing (the camp) is over, I've realized something. i really want to play college ball. I mean, I have always loved softball but I never really thought about what I wanted out of all the practices and camps and tournaments. I want to play college ball and be good. I want to say that I did that, ya know what I mean. The coaches are coming to my tournament at the end of them month, so hopefully he'll like me enough to offer me a scholarship. Shoot. I hope so. They seemed to like me when I was talking to them. So keep your fingers crossed for me.

School is a pain in the ass. Shoot. Im just glad first semester is coming to and end. It's great. I can't wait til June 2, 2005. No more high school. It will be awesome. But other than that, life's good. Softball is keeping me busy. I have a camp this weekend up at Utah State. It's gonna be off da hook cuz the coach is gonna scout me and give me a scholarship to go there... hmmm.. im just dreamin, but seriouslly wish me luck cuz I need to make an impression on him. Well then at the end of the month I'm going to Indiana, for a scholarship competition for St. Joe's. Can't wait cuz I'm going to talk to the coach down there too. It'll be great.Oh, and I'm planning on taking a trip to good ol' Maryland sometime. So all you people out there.. we need to party it up when I'm there. I miss you guys. I don't know when I'll come though.. I hope that I can make the trip there. Well, thanx to everyone that came to my site. I know it looks like shit but I haven't had time to work on it. Busy busy busy. Well, hi to everyone I guess. There's the update on me, for now.
