watched dark knight (twice actually, once w/ the friends and one w/ the fam at IMAX). Got tickets beforehand but still had to wait in line for two hours. Haven’t done that in a while. The wait was worth it. got ok seats. It was pretty close to the front. Really really good movie. I give it an a for action lol. it would be an a plus if cuter people were in it. ha heath ledger did a great job. Too bad he’s gone. I watched the first one after I watched dark knight. What a difference. Batman begins was so boring compared to dark knight. No wonder it made 155 mil.

Saturday was a girls day. I hung out w/ Maricel and Sheryl. We ate at sanams then headed to target. Got some office compatible shoes for $6! I hate not wearing sneakers. My feet always hurt now. shiet. After target we went to living spaces. It’s like a really big furniture showroom. It has a tv store in it and a water fountain in the front lol. fashion q and penguins. Then we get back to sheryls for swimming. We mostly did exercises in the water haha. My arms were sore after that for some reason. It wasn’t even heavy lifting. Im weak. After swimming went to the panorama mall to look for a dress. No luck. Did you know walmart had caramel churros? Cool! After dropped Maricel off and then went to get ready for lisa’s bday dinner . we went to gyu kaku. So good. it’s a free salad/sushi bar (limited types) then meat you cook. You can get refills on the meet and veggies too so that’s cool. It takes a while to cook so you’re just mainly waiting for the food. garlic rice was yum! They really hooked it up. Jennifer’s ex is the assistant manager there. They hooked it up w/ shots of saki too. lisa’s parents paid. Crazy! I’m so glad I went. They’re so nice!! After dinner we went back home since ate april forgot her id. Then headed to skinnys. It was already hot in there. It was fun. Lots of dancing. Hot stepper came on and babyboy, jerille and Jerome had a runway walk off. Lol didn’t stay that long cuz everyone was hot and tired. Ate frozen pizza and cheese fries chips and knocked out!

Sunday boating. Didn’t go as early so our spot was taken. Bees were taking over. Scary. Jon went skydiving so he missed out on Sunday lake day. Jerille’s fam and jan came. Portia and fam came. Boat was too full so didn’t spend much time w/ the obinas. Maybe next time. Sid jerille and babyboy tried wakeboarding.. I got up and went longer on the board this time. I actually got out of the wake and was one handed for a couple seconds! Lol Monday, my whole body was sore. What a workout.

I had to fill in for joon the dispatcher for two weeks. I’m almost done w/ serving my time here at this desk. It’s horrible. It’s not busy but with the additional tasks I have, it’s hella busy! I cant do this . I hope joon never leaves. If he does, we need to get his replacement up to speed fast. I hate this desk also because I’m stuck to it. I have to be on top of the emails and the portals. I cant just walk around and go to my other department. My butt and legs are so tired! Lol my back too. it’s not hard or anything. Just tiring. Cant wait for my own vacation… a week of no work! wow! I have to get my reps trained on what I do so things can be taken care of while I’m gone. That’s going to be hard because I know everything in my head. I only have some stuff written like on a manual or some sort. Not all of it though. My worries are the emails and fires that I put out. Oh well. They gotta live it w/ while I’m gone! I’ll probably start looking up more Hawaii stuff next week. That will get me even more excited!

Something that doesn’t excite me is my bday. I don’t want go get older. That means more responsibilities. That means less money! Ahhh! I hate all my bills. I feel so broke. And I doubt I’m going to get a good raise his yr because work has been crappy. So much drama. We’ll see. I wonder if my monster account is still alive. I have to see and try to remember my password . gotta update my resume! Joon’s talking about it too. we’ll see. it’s kinda scary. I am comfortable at sca but times are rough. I cant survive w/ this economy now. this is ridiculous =( I don’t want to leave a place that I like and people are good. I don’t want to start all over and maybe even get the same amount. I don’t want to dress up! Lol

Turning 26
I was talking to ate april about this. it’s sad. There’s the milestone birthdays. Like when you turn 16, 18, 25. those are the good ones. Those are the ones to celebrate. Now I just feel old. You can no longer be in the 18-25 age range. Would 26 be a mid twenty? Or late twenty?! Ahhhhh! Scary. I think it’s just scary because no one wants to be old. You want to stay young forever or as long as you can. I just have to face it now. now im an adult lol. I got bills to pay, I’m sore after I snowboard or wakeboard, I cant go clubbing wed, thurs, fri, sat anymore like I used to. I get sleepy around 11pm. Time goes by so fast. In two years, it will be 10 years since I’ve been out of high school. What do I have to show for it? I don’t own anything. I am barely making payments. i dont have any savings =(

For my bday, me two teams at work combined forces and suprised me with a lunch party. They got pizza, wings, soda, cake, balloons, flowers. they're so sweet! i cant believe them. i felt very special and so loved!
i went to dinner w/ jon at firefly in studio city. saw kathy griffin and jeff lewis from flipping out (bravo reality show). food was good. i would go there again.

Went to hollywood and highland on fri. it was so much fun. i was pretty done. some people got me shots/drinks like LA WATER. that got me f*cked up.

the next day, we went to temecula to meet up w/ jan. first wine tasting at la pointe winery. i didnt know you can drink so much wine. they didnt really restrict you.

we were supposed to eat the seafood grotto but they were racist. so we ate buffet instead. after we went back to jon's dad's condo but couldnt be loud. we hung out and watched the camping video and slept right after

i had my family lunch at gya kaku for my bday. i love that place. but i'm allergic to something over there. look at the hives on my neck already!

the end of july.. august is here. me n jon three years anniversary. crazy huh! time flies. he took me to ruth chris. i luved it. it was really good. really expensive! jon got my a fuji camera in turquoise! so cute!

jon had to leave for vegas that night because of noel's bachelor party in vegas. so darwin called during dessert and then we told the waitress to just pack up the dessert because he got "the call" and then she's all like. "oh the kids" lol hilarious! the waitress was really nice. i think it was the nicest dining experience ever so we wrote her a note. you wouldnt really expect that from a fancy place. usually they dont give a crap.

stephs bday at the lake house. that was fun too. we got there friday night and of course drank. i dont remember a lot. the next day was filled with games, water fights, pie fights haha, triathalon, sweet sixteen entrance from steph, luau, pinata, dancing, human pyramids

camping at lake isabella....hell?
so we get off at work and start our trip to lake isabella. we stop by mcdonalds to get dinner and finally get to the site around the same time as jerille and his fam. jon, vince and sid already set up our tent and emptied the truck. the rest of the night was sitting around in a circle, drinking, playing telephone and the dance game. its funny how some people cant hear well lol and what alcohol can impair you. some of this was caught on tape. ended the night pretty good. alcohol is needed for sleeping in the wilderness' hard floor.

-the next morning everyone woke up hella early. everyone had to go to the bathroom. they locked the gate the night before so there was technical difficulties. i hate pubilc bathrooms...and lake bathrooms are even nastier. there was a frog in there the night before. this was the longest day in history. we come back and just sit around. the temp heats up. i think everyone is just bored out of their mind by now. i try to take naps but its too hot. we have a couple water fights. that was fun. i didnt bother with the water bottles, i got cups instead. felt good getting drenched in the heat. i got a couple people in their faces. steph and meinerd follow in the afternoon. we decided to take some pics. when we were taking the guys pic a big gust of wind hits the camping area. i first see the sand lift up a bunch of shit from the camping site next to us. the next thing you know our canopies are up in the air. two canopies that were tied together and bungeed to rocks. crazy. supposedly the table also was flying up but jon had to lay on it to keep it down. it was pretty dangerous. steph took the girls and told us to get to the back of the truck and so we hid there for a couple minutes and then she goes back to help hold the canopy with the boys. she's injured and crazy. the wind blew hard for a couple more minutes. it scared us for about an hour or so. the park ranger came and warned us of flash flooding and hail. he laughed too so what were we supposed to make out of that? some people already started to pack their stuff just in case. we started cooking as we anticipated rain. it started to sprinkle and we started the shots lol
-dinner was hot dogs and hamburgers. the last of the campers came and brought more liqs. we played prisoner with the football. jon picked me first because im the gf lol. i couldnt catch for shit hahaha. my first attempt, i got injured and now i have bruised thumbs. the 2nd game we played i caught the ball once. and then i was the last woman standing and caught the ball one last time before we lost.tabi and sid suprised everyone w/ glow bracelets. we had a bonfire and smores. we tried to play the telephone game but that didnt work. guitars and ipod karaoke. lol the bugs were crazy this night. we had some citronella candles that they smothered. some ended up in my drink and it was too dark to tell lol drank a mix of grand marnier, vodka, and oj. i was falling asleep singing along w/ the ipod and tripping over my glow bracelet lol. went to sleep around 1 i think. i cant remember but i know i couldnt go to sleep bcuz vince kept snoring. i thought i was never going to sleep. we woke up around 8:30. packed up and got ready to leave! finally. it was fun but it was just a really long weekend. took a final pic and headed home. we all ate at sonics in bakersfield for lunch. what a weekend!
