2.22.O8 ; oh woww i have a lot to catch up on, as you probably all know . why did i stop updating for so long ? i guess i just got really busy and it was too much going on to update . but AT LEAST i`m back, right ? :P here i am . sitting at my computer . updating . i know, aren`t you proud ? but anyway moving on . ummm . . since the last time i updated i DID have my 18th birthday ! that`s right, i`m 18 now yayyy :D . i guess it`s pretty cool to be 18 . but it`s so crazy to think that 18 years ago I was born, it seems like a long time . i remember being 7 years old like it was yesterday ! no joke . seriouslyy, where does time go ? goshh haha . oh, since the last time i updated, my older brother brian turned 21 years old ! yayy . he told me he wants to go to las vegas now with all his friends from the bowling alley so they can go gamble and drink haha . but honestly, brian is ALWAYS sarcastic, so i can never know if he`s kidding around or telling the truth . mmmmhm . so what else happened in january uumm . . OH YEAH . my friend stephanie did have her birthday party ! lemme tell youu, it was amazing . over 300 people came and it was at the fancy hall place . stephanie was like GORGEOUSS . she had her make up and hair professionally done and she was wearing her tiara and big white dress . her dance partner, kyle, became her boyfriend after that awww haha . i told her, i was like, "i knew you guys would make a good couple!" and, well, whadda ya know ? they got together . yeeeep . stephanie`s party was so much fun . i knew a bunch of people there which is always good . i saw priscilla, amanda, justin, celia, and some other dude from one of my classes last year hah . i also met some new people at the party . i met this girl named lakeisha . she was superr wasted lol . she was like not making sense, at all . me, priscilla, and celia were laughing sooo hard at her LMAO it was so funny omg . the disco lights that were on the whole night were going around the whole room and lakeisha was like "WOAHH THE LIGHTS ARE MOVIN" and we were all just like "..." cause she was just.. wow . really drunk lol . if you read this far in my entry say "katie you`re my favorite barbie!" bahaha . me and a bunch of people kind of got in an argument with lakeisha because she was like "I'M TELLIN ON YALL FOR DRINKIN" and i was like "um lakeisha. you drank like 6 glasses of wine YOURSELF so what the heck ? you`ll be telling on yourself" not that she would have known that anyway, cause she was so dang wastedd . yeah & as for me, i only had like half a glass of wine for the toast to my friend`s dinner thing that everyone did . but lakeisha was like wayy gone lol . um yeah so some dramz went down there rofll . but the dancing part was SO fun . i was dancing all nighttt, loved itt . of course the infamous "cha-cha slide" song came on . always have fun with that . i ended up getting stephanie some money, cause i figured i would just let her pick her gift instead of me picking it for her . turns out she got over $2000 for her birthday . i was like dayum girl take me shoppin with you sometime haha . in fact, we did go shopping after that . twiceee . the first time we went to the mall it was to go to chicago . me and stephanie got on the train to go downtown to see my friend kelly who lives there . we went to the watertower mall and to nordstrom, coach, macy`s, neiman marcus, etc . so that was funn . it felt like a zillion degrees below zero & it started to snow when we were walking around towards the end of the night but it was way fun ! when we took the train back home we got some starbucks at the train station before headin back . lalala . there were way more things that happened in january but i`m gonna skip along to february . OK . so february was, of course, my birthday month ! :P february 10th . i had my birthday at woodfield mall, as planned . i invited a few of my good friends to come with and we did a whole latte shopping haha . my parents gave me quite a bit of cash to shop with since it was my birthday, i bought a lot of cute stuff . i got slippers from nordstrom, more VS lipgloss, a shimmery silver top with a pink tanktop, gray leggings, and a heart necklace from forever 21 . i got a new cover for my sidekick, a purple bow with hairclips from icing, dior mascara (the freaking BEST MASCARA ever, i promise you), and some other shizz i don`t remember lol . but it was a lot of fun . we all ate at the rainforest cafe for dinner ! rainforest is always exciting . i also saw tigger, pooh, eeyore, the chipmunks, donald duck, minnie mouse, mickey mouse, stitch, goofy, and all them disney characters on stage in the middle of the mall ! it was cutee . that one movie on disney channel.. highschool musical 2 or whatev . . some guy on stage was singing and doing all the dance moves and all the little kids joined in and it was like a big cult hahah . it was nice though . i got a free disney ears hat . ummmm lalalala . . after thattt my cousin came in town, mandy . me and mandy went to panera bread for lunch and stuff . we visited petco to see the animals because we`re animal lovers of courseee . we also visited the humane society to see all the dogs and cats there . omg it was so saddd cause all the dogs were crying and barking :( i was like AHH i wish i could buy you all . i saw these two little white poodles named daisy and minnie and the sign on their cage said "these two MUST be bought together . no exceptions ! :[" cause they loved each other and i was like aww how cute . the cats were pretty relaxed seeming though . but i`m more of a dog person so if i were to adopt one, i`d def. get a doggyy . but oh well i can`t lol, i already got my own dog at home here and she`s a sweetiepoo . hahah . but anyways . this weekend me and my friend are going to the movies yayy . oh yeah, thanks for all the comments last time ! you all are too sweet . leave comments again ? SOUP! haaa me and my cousin mandy went to panera bread last weekend (;

thursday nightt ! almost friday YAY . haha yeah i was too lazy to update earlier this week . but it`s k, it was basically just school and stuff . wow & thanks for all the comments . . holey moley, over 100 cmnts . crazyyy . lolll . so anyway yeah . monday was school and umm i don`t recall anything happening that day . tuesday i didn`t do much either haha . it was raining outside that day and i had to fill up the tank so i drove to the gas station . the gas station parking lot was like a lake, it was FLOODED . it was like scary driving through that water, it was kinda deep haha . but i was just like "forget thisss i`m floorin` it" and i went through it . yeah some idiot was driving in front of me and he had his signal to turn left and he went right . wtf ? people are stupid i tell you . haha but yeah . um wednesday was a 2:05 day from schoolll . i registered to vote for the 2008 election ! since i`ll be 18 on february 10th ( remember that ! ) i can vote for the upcoming elections yayy ! not saying who i`m voting for though lol (: but wow i`m so glad i can vote this year . when i registered to vote for when i turned 18, me and like three other people had to put our right hand in the air and say like this whole "repeat-after-me" speech about how we are citizens of the U.S. and we promise to be good voters & what not haha . yep, yep . then thursday, today, i was like really tired this morning and a little under the weather ( but it`s all good, i`m feeling better haha ) . so yeah i stayed home from school today . when i was home, my mom walked into my room and she goes "katie?" and i`m like "chyeahh mom what" and she`s like "do you want to have an early birthday present i got you?" and i was like "EEEP YES . let me see !" and she takes these two boxes out from behind her back and i see two coach boxes =O SO i was like OMG . i opened up the first box and it was REALLY cute pink coach flats i was just flipping out because i love coach ! then i opened the second box and it was an AMAZING pink edition of the heritage coach striped purse ! i was like omgomg THANKS MOM wow . both of those things together costed her like $450, NO joke . my mom really went all out for me for that . i`m sooo happy, i love it-- &` my madreee of course haha . for my 18th birthday in february, i decided i want to have my birthday at this HUGE mall in north chicago called Woodfield Mall . if any of you reading this live in chicago, that name might sound familiar haha . this mall has SO many stores and i`m psyched, i can`t wait . it has a Rainforest Cafe in it ! if you have never eaten at that restaurant, it`s the best and you need to eat there sometime lol (: & i`m inviting a bunch of my friends to come along soo that will be awesome . my 'rents said they`ll give me quite a bit of cash to spend for my birthday at the mall . so that`s my other gift i`ll be getting on my birthday woot . haha but anyway, about TOMORROW . . i dunno if i have any plans yet . but i`m hoping this weekend i can go ice skating at the rink . i`m probably gonna have make-up homework because i missed, ewz . but who`s pumped for this weekend ? i know i am . yayyy . p.s. -> check out the pictures of my coach bag + flats below ! this is proof . please do not steal any of my pictures below, okayy ? thankss . :]

bonjour lovelies ! omg so okay, this weekend was so much fun ! haha . friday i saw enchantedddd it was amazingg . i seriously loveee that movie lol . i`m sooo seeing juno next, it looks too funny . so today i went and picked up stephanie for the malllll . stephanie is turning 16 on january 24th and she gave me an invite to her sweet 16 party ! omg it`s gonna be awesome . she`s having this huge party at the serbian hall and everybody who goes to the party has to wear ballroom dresses YAY . her theme is masquerade and her dress is so pretty omg . last time me and her went to the mall she bought her tiara to go with her dress which was 70 dollars haha but wow it`s like beautifulll . as for today, me and her went to the mall again cause we had a ton of christmas money to blow, which was grand . stephanie bought her necklace today to go with her dress . it`s really a gorgeous piece of jewelery, it's like a choker pearl necklace with a diamond thing on it . ahhh as for my dress, i think i need to go dress shopping for something soon . stephanie told me that her color theme is like a frosty pink so i`m gonna look for a really cute frosted pink color dress . then i have to find a masquerade mask to match, because well, it`s a masquerade . so yeeeeppss . i have to think of something good to get her for her birthday ! i`m thinking something good though, like some juicy couture perfume ( i saw it at macy`s today, it smells SO good omg ) . but idk if i should say what else i`m thinking of getting her on here because stephanie has an xanga herself . lol ! she has a really old icon site that she doesn`t update anymore but like still, i`m cautious hmm . ahaahaha . but anyway . if you read this far say katie you amaze me ! haha . movin` on though . . at the mall earlier i splurged on buying some make up . i got a really cute shirt at hollister, dior ligploss, some shirts at forever 21, shoes, and a coach wallet + wristlet . we also ate at the food court haha  so . . i got food of course . mmm mall food . . delicious . . deliciously greasy hahah eww . nah, it wasn`t that bad though . i had curly fries with an italian beef sandwich . later on me and stephanie got frappuccinos ( yeah get used to seeing starbucks mentioned in every entry, i feed my addiction for it way too much ) . if you care or whatever, we both got the double chocolate chip frapps . yum . lols . so then i dropped her off at home and came back home just a few hours ago . yeeeah idk why i`m up still right now really . it`s like 3 in the morning ? oh wowww . sad part about that is, i`m not even tired ! my whole schedule has been completley backwards this break lol . i`m prob gonna be screwed for monday because it`s probably gonna be hard to get back on a regular schedule again . i`ve been getting up at like 11 AM everyday . how messed up is that ? lol . well i`m gonna go to bed now, before i become like, an insomiac ahahah . k,ilyyyy (:  - -peace, love, katie <3

so anyways, it`s friday . who`s excited ?! i know i am . yeah it`s like superr early here and i`m up right now because my friend kelly came and picked me up and we ate at this bagel placeee aha . i had a blueberry bagel, it was awesome yum . then we made a quick starbucks stop and i grabbed a caramel latte to go . kelly had work today so she dropped me off just a few minutes ago . needless to say, this coffee definietly woke me up so i think i`m up for the day now lolol . but yeah . plans for later todayy ! i`m uber excited . at 5 PM i`m picking up my friend stef & we`re going to the movies . we`re either gonna see enchanted or one missed call . personally, i want to see enchanted cause i heard it got four stars but we`ll seeee . after the movies we`re gonna eat at connie`s pizza for dinner i think ! i love that place . hmm yep, then i should be home later that night aha . as for saturday, me and my friend stephanie ( different person than stef ) are going to the mall . i got a lot of christmas money to blow so what the hay, you know ? yeah that`s right i rhymed . go me ! rofl . um so idk what i`m gonna buy yettt but i need a new tracksuit from VS and . . a cinnabon of course . chyeahh & i gotta visit forever 21 um duh ! a new one just opened in our mall, i`m stokedd . on sunday i have no clue what i`m doing, but i`ll prob be sobbin` because it`s the last day of break, BOO . i seriously don`t wanna go back to school monday . this is gonna suck ughh . what makes it even worse about going back is that it`s crunch week . say what ? crunch week, you know, the week where you cram in all that studying before finals ? that . yeah my school does finals after break so i gotta study hard next week so that the following week i do good on those senior finalsss . meh .

okay on my old personal i didn`t really update much about how my christmas and new years went so i`ll tell ya . well christmas eve we had the traditional family party at my house which is fun . aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc were there . i got a bunch of gifts from relatives and stuff . one of them gave me a starbucks giftcard which always comes in handy ! the rest of the stuff was basically just cash which works for meee . on christmas day i got a bunch of sweet stuff . now i hate to sound all braggy, like some people with personals out there who i can tell are stretching the truth about what they got ( you know who you are, but no names ! ahaa ) . so yeah i`m all about honesty folks for realll . for christmas i got more moneyyy, slippers, make up, an ipod nano, an ihome, a louis vuitton bag (REAL), a pink digital camera, hilary duff`s with love perfume, clothes, VS pajamas, britney spears blackout CD, a bubblegum machine, a huge pink pillow, a new sidekick, and some lotion . i think i got some other stuff too but i`m not gonna bother to think about it too hard lol . so moving on ! new years was so much FUN omg . on new years eve me and my fam went to aurelios pizzeria for dinner and me and my brothers played arcade games there . it wasn`t too busy that night like it usually is so it was nice . then my dad made a starbucks stop for the whole fam (yeah my whole family is starbucks addicts, believe me) and i got a gingerbread latte wooop . uhh so yeah then we went home and i invited my friend over to my house and she stayed pretty late . we drank some strawberry margeritas, those are SO good. then i had some grape wine heh heh . i swear i was sober y`all lol . so then when it hit midnight my friend kelly called me from whatever party she was at and was like "hay girl!! am i your first caller of O8?!" yeah obv. she was rofl . then stephanie texted me and goes "hey happy new year hoe" . then a few other people texted n such . then i chilled with the fam for a few hours and then called it a night . so that was how my holidays went !

okay well i`m outtie ! gonna go watch tv or somethingg and text some peeps .
