| Dude, I suck at updatesSo anyway...I'm waiting to begin work as Climbing Director at (BSA) Camp Falling Rock in Newark, OH. Cassie started her new job yesterday (Ben & Jerry's @ Cedar Point), and her birthday is Friday. I'm trying to figure out some way to see her between now and then. Natl Camp School in Blooomington kicked my ass, but what's better is that I may have to attend ANOTHER one in Missouri starting Saturday. Tthings I do to get a decent job.....le sigh.... | | |
| Let's pretend that I DIDN'T forget to update for over 2 months :)Okay.....so I kinda fell off the face of the Earth for a few months. Time to get with the times...
Let's see....what should I mention.....
I am currently NOT enrolled in classes; the spring semester and I just didn't seem to get ourselves aligned. Hopefully the coming fall semester will prove more cooperative.
My mom's getting married on April 20th.....yeah, yeah, I too laughed at the slightly ironic fact that mom's 'to be wed' on 4/20........but I digress....
Oh yeah.....I'm engaged. I (officially) will NEVER again doubt the instinct that resides in my gut :)
To be continued........
| Reflection of a romantic reality check...Until very recently, I didn't realize just how closely my girlfriend's life reflects my own. We've been unknowingly having the very same thoughts...wishes....hopes...and goals. I had forgotten what it feels like to have that with someone. Honestly, I've never experienced something like this by suprise. I don't know how to describe it really....but it's actually really, REALLY cool. She's amazing....
and I can't believe I've known it all along.
..........she's amazing.
| Merry Christmas, late as I may beSo Christmas was pretty decent, especially because I got to spend pretty much all of it with Cassie. Christmas Eve was split between some of my dad's extended family and (later) my mother's. On Christmas Day, we (Cassie & I) changed locations and spent time with her respective "families" in Bellevue. Lots of food, lots of conversation, and (much to my dismay) NO SNOW! I don't know who wrote this freakin' weather forecast, but I'm ready to file a formal complaint. It's almost January, and I haven't seen a flake of snow since NOVEMBER! Geez!
Other than that, things have been fairly slow...hopefully the next week will pick up some pace...
| Sorry, I just kinda fell off the Earth...So it's been a crazy-busy last month and a half. A play (complete with black hair dye that's very much still present), a slew of concerts to perform, exams....and then of course Cassie. We just hit the 3 month mark the other day.....and I have to say that we're doing rather well. She's back in Bellevue, and I in Grand Rapids.....it's weird not seeing each other on a daily basis.....I miss her, but I know that it's cool to be apart from time to time. My pillow smells like her...I woke up this morning and smelled her, but when I turned over and reached out she wasn't there. It was kinda sad. But anyway...
I'm back in NW ohio for a few weeks...so IM me or give me a call.....419-832-1950. Later gators!
