| HI!!!!!! i'm in Taiwan and am finally getting a chance to update. :) i realized that family reunions, which I always wanted so much, really aren't that much fun. haha. still, it's nice being here and learning about another culture. I'm sleepy and listening to my mother and other relatives singing karaoke in the next room. :P mainly I hope you guys are all well. :) |

| Glory be to God Almighty! Even during the inbetween times, He is
totally there. I'm not much of a runner, but today I ran 4 1/2
miles, which is more than I've ever run at once. And God blessed
us with sunshine after a cloudy week. I also went to church this
morning. It's so hard to go in b/c it's so early! I'm glad
I did though. love ya lots. Vanessa

| i'm starting to juggle clubs/pins now! I hit myself on the face
three times though in just one hour, and it really hurt. I have a
ton of fun at the juggling club--it's so surprising! I'm also
starting to get to know my TA's better in most of my classes, so that's
pretty cool too. Last night I was security at the Dashboard
Confessional concert, so I had to sit outside for a while but couldn't
watch.  It was great though because I finished my book,
Life of Pi, and then I went to see the rest of the concert,for the last
half hour, which was the best b/c that's when they played my favorite
songs! coool. and today I'm just going to read and study
and work on a presentation. have a great week!

| I am so thankful for an incredible accountability partner here!
Her name is Whitney and she's from California. We've been praying
together for a couple of nights and it's REALLY helped. God has
totally come through! I probably ran several miles today from the
NROTC stuff and it's just really cool how God manages to help me
survive. I should be writing a paper. I love you guys!
