  • Hey, where have I been?

I'm sorry my Xanga, I've been neglecting you.

Not having the internet for a week or so really backlogged me. That, and the psp I bought is why I haven't been spending as much time as I used to in front of my laptop. Nick has moved to Perth and we're still looking for a new housie. The only potential candidate had accepted another place the night before, so now we're pretty much back to square one...

I haven't been doing much around the house lately. Then again I haven't been spending that much time in the house to begin with. Is it really becoming just a place to rest my head at the end of the night..? Drifting, that seems to be the way things are going at the moment. Just drifting. What happened? Routine? I've been having strange dreams lately, and how true it is that we're never as happy or sad as we believe ourselves to be.

I'd like to go to Jayne's and Bert's respective birthday parties, but I'm working that night and have no idea how to get to Sandhurst or Dave's apartment. Boo. I am a party pooper.

  • Number Two.

It has come and gone, our two-year mark. Although I left a trail of tears across half the city, the honesty and earnestness of the feelings did nothing to wedge us apart; they only served to draw us closer together.

Happy second, fishie. My heart is still yours.

For my dear readers, this is the only (and rather unclear) recent picture of me on my camera. Lets hope I take more tomorrow when we check out Game On at ACMI

  • Another haircut?

It's almost winter and I just had to. Even now that the nape of my neck is exposed to the unforgiving winds, that five bobby pins is all I need to hold it back and I suddenly have two different hair styling products when I have never owned any previously, I don't regret it. My hair hasn't been this short since..I was five or six. I feel like I look slightly androgynous, but so far all I've gotten are compliments.

    Somehow this feels strangely liberating.
