So this has been the summer of spontaneous camping trips. So here are pictures:

We stopped at a Nascar-themed Burger King on our way to Colorado. But we didn't make it that far the first night. We slept at a hotel in Kansas instead.

My mom exterminated all bugs that could have possibly even come close to our hotel room... and she almost exterminated us in the process. My sister looks terrified. She had a right to be. Those bugs were ugly. As was my mom with her exterminator face. :P

The next morning we went to Denny's for breakfast. They forgot to bring the rest of my order. Just gave me my biscuit and chocolate milk and wanted me to be happy. No sir! I complained. And they brought the rest of my food.

Finally, we reached Colorado. And mountains!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a hobo. Yes, that is indeed a man.

We finally reached Jellystone campgrounds. And stayed in Yogi's cabin 15.

We took a trail hike thingy to those rocks. And yes, I climbed to the highest point on those rocks. I'm hardcore like that.

I also saw falling water. Amazing.

We took this gravel road up some mountain and there was this biker who had ridden his bike the entire way up. Omg. I applaud his stamina. It was hard enough climbing that mountain in a car. Can't imagine how it would be like on a bike.

We're amazing campers who set up an electric grill and actually cook stuff in nature.

But no matter, we made a fire and warmed our feet by it. It reached 45 degrees that night. Gah.

Although I did not have reception there, I still had to find somewhere to charge my phone. And my dad almost died without email, phone, and the internet for the 2 days that we didn't have reception. Well, not really. But it was close I'm sure.

And then it was time to head back home. But first, we stopped at the Cave of the Winds. Not sure what that's supposed to mean. I didn't feel any winds. But that's inside the cave. It was kinda unexciting. A couple low ceilings, a couple narrow passageways, a highly unenthusiastic tour guide and endless threats of fines and jail time if you touched the cave walls. lame.
But.

I bought a shiny thingy from the cave giftshop. Shiny things make me happy.

I was going to hijack that Blue Bell truck.

Because I was bored and ate an entire box of Sunkist Fruit Smoothie fruit snacks.
And then we were hardcore again and drove straight from Colorado to Texas. Not a good idea btw. We got home at 6 am. Blah.

And this is the cheesecake I had at Abuelo's with Jessica and Tony last week. I had the cheesecake. They were just present as I ate it. Well, most of it anyways.

And this is a dress I tried on. I did not buy it though. Just tried it on. I <3'd.

And this is Julie and her food on our Studio-Movie-Grill-let's-celebrate-Julie's-birthday outing. <3
That is all I believe. Summer is almost over. School is almost coming. I am almost very stressed. But stress is no good. Or healthy. Causes problems. Trust me. The solution: Stress Management class which I will be taking in the fall. Amazing.
Oh, and I made custom boxers yesterday.

Drive safely loves.
