A run-down of my summer~by Zach Crampton
Basically what you need to know is that I traveled a shit-load of miles this summer and worked during some of the hottest days, but I'll be nice and throw some details at you.

Travel:  Here's a list of where I was this summer (in order of visit).  Baltimore, Alexandria, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Crystal City (outside D.C.), Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, State College, Duck (North Carolina), Micheaux State Forest (Adams Cumberland and Franklin County area aka middle of nowhere PA), Delaware (saw half the cities in the state on this trip cause it's just so tiny ), State College (again), Elysburg (Knoebel's), and still to come Philly (again) and Atlantic City.  Really I only spent about half my summer here in Harrisburg; the rest of the time I was using as much gas as possible while playing games on the PA Turnpike with GMC Yukons while wearing a cowboy hat (my new driving hat from VA Beach ).  Next summer I'll be able to drive new cars and travel all over the place AND get paid for it (I'll be in heaven).

Work:  Not only did I have the most jobs I've ever had this summer or the longest jobs I've ever had, but there were some days where it was essentially working in Circle VII Ring III of Hell (this is what I get for reading Dante's Inferno while on vacation ).  Next year will be different for work because 1) I have to do a months worth of training for Air Force at some point, and 2) I'll have that previously mentioned part time job.

Love Life:  Why I have this as a section in my summer run down I do not know, for most times I cannot figure out my love life let alone write a summary about it.  Well, here it goes (in short of course).  The distance between Harrisburg and Philly is entirely too long and whomever responsible should be shot.  This one falls into the "if only" catagory.  I recorded the shortest relationship in my life with a whopping 2 (count 'em) two day relationship.  Don't ask me how or why, just take it as it is.  As for now maybe things have settled down to a state of less chaios (which is good) for now atleast because distance is always a factor on my mind.   That'll be all for the love life section; any more will cause me to think, and if I've learned anything in my life it's that I should not think under any circumstance, but I do forever and always so I guess I'll have to live with it and it's confusing manner.

Friends:  I just thought about this today and I've actually spent as much, if not more, time with my college friends as i did with my friends from high school.  Although, Chris can't really count I guess since he's my roommate and lives about 1/2 a mile from me here.  I know I was eager to not so much leave high school but to get to college.  It's as if I've subconciously moved completely on with my life which, in some respects, isn't all that bad.

Soccer:  Yeah, so this is the last time I'll be manager/contact person for the RMSD.  I wasn't so happy when I went to Sports City and gave them $236 of my money to cover my team's debt.  I'll still play next year, but with me traveling and a fluctuating roster I just don't want to deal with it again.  This season has left me with 2 broken fingers and a broken toe (and after tonight maybe a bruised foot) which gave my mom fuel for the argument "you shouldn't play soccer anymore".  Like hell I won't.  My doctor agrees with me on this one; at my appointment Wednesday he told my mom my fingers and toe were bruised and not broken.  He's awesome by the way.

The real purpose of this is so I have something to direct inquisitive minds to when they ask me "so how was your summer?"  Instead of sitting there explaining all the forementioned material I can just say "read this" and get on with the fun college life.  If I do update this anymore it'll be few and far between as its been for a while.  Hope you guys had a good summer.  I know I did.  Until I update/see you again I bid you a fond farewell.  You stay classy...WORLD.

On a side note PSU is making it to a bowl this year and I will be there wherever in the USA it is .

Hello, all.  The point of this entry is to inform all who read this that the Raging Mexican Squirrels of Doom have started again for the rest of the summer.  We had a game friday in which we beat the East High varsity team 17-9.  We're 1-0 now and have 7 more weeks of games left; all friday nights; all of them 8 or 9pm.  As always I encourage EVERYONE to come and be entertained.  In conclusion, RMSD ROCKS so come out and represent .  Signing out, Zach.

Next game:  July 15th 8pm

So here's a rundown of my spring break.  Friday night:  Chris and I invited all freshman Air Force people going on the base visits to our place just to chill.  I ended up going on a very long and odd walk with a few friends and then watching harold and kumar when we got back.  Saturday main points:  awakened by the housing ladies, Halo 2 and chinese food.  Sunday:  early morning and a trip throughout the DC area.  Monday:  more DC.  Tuesday:  to Dover, much snow squal was had haha.  Wednesday:  actually in Harrisburg for the next 36 hours, well, for the most part.  I put on 265 miles in that 36 hours including two trips to York   Friday:  to Buffalo!  Probably had the best hotel room (suite) ever.  Saturday: ah skiing, how I missed you so.  Got a couple inches of snow WHILE skiing.  Sunday:  Said goodbye to the relatives and left for here.  B-day dinner with the rents then finally a chance to settle down.  Monday: first day of class, ick.  Tuesday:  long day but ending with a Hooters b-day dinner, o yeah   So, I covered 5 states, 1340 miles, and i didn't stay in any place more than two nights until now.  Tired as hell but t'was awesome.

Anywho, I'll be home for easter weekend, minus a trip to Philly Friday , so let me know if you're around.
