The commanding officer of Fort Lewis will now decide whether he will be court-martialed, which could send him to jail for over seven years. His website asks that you write a letter..My letter goes out today..I have no idea whether it'll make a difference, but if you do it, and if someone else knows that you know wrote too, and so on...then maybe it will make a difference.

U know what I feel like doing...making a new xanga. And maybe I'll start writing in livejournal. Who knows.
I may resubscribe to some of you. Or I may not. I just
realized I have way too many journals to read...but the world is so big
and has so many perspectives. I've never met most of you.
I've never spoken face to face with most of you. Yet I
read. And reading takes a lot of time. But I havent read my
subs in...months...but so what. And deleting many subscriptions
takes a freaking long time...and frankly there are some subscriptions I
would like to remember and not forget completely. So Im
restarting. A fresh blog.
O yeah. IM DOOOOONE WITH FINALS! woopwoopwoop. Oyeah.
And I'm getting out of here. I feel like I should be
ecstatic. But I haven't been. I just need someone to share
my ecstaticness with. Next for me: throwing myself into New York
for the first time, for the summer, trying to support myself with a
small loan from my Dad.
picture: UCSC students *ahem* protesting at the Regents meeting where they congratulated themselves on building nuclear weapons and voting to pay for their own salaries while ripping off students by voting to increase our tuitions
An interesting third-party in NY... working families party *edit* working families party ARE democrats, chose pro-war, pro-corporate clinton over anti-war, pro-universal healthcare candidate tasini with 90% of the vote
Looks like 3rd parties in NY and other states have more political leverage because they have open-ballot voting, which allows people to vote for candidates from other party under the name of different party.
