Interviews finally over? After the chaos: Deloitte: 3rd coop work term, full time is likly to follow. Mostly likely the job i will take and start my career in. SF Partnership: Surprisingly the mid size acct firms seem like a really good place to work at. the staff there were extra nice (or at least just the interviewer) and i felt like you can accomplish a lot more there. but still at the end of the day, i would choose the big4. Westwind partners: awaiting answer for next round of interview. the people at this small i banking firm really sold me on how a smaller firm is better to work at. JPMorgan: interview went well, still final round left where I will write a case and present it to the staff. Sounds really tough. The funny part was when the interviewer was lecturing me about not going the CA route. ("ask the audit firms why there is so much turnover") ("my friends working at the firms are calling me now to try to get into JPMorgan") lol...but made me think I feel like as if the accounting/finance route is pulling me from opposite sides. If i choose one, i'll regret not doing the other. and vice versa. but as of now, i think the accounting route is pulling me harder. Meanwhile, Midterm time is here. I havn't felt this unprepared for midterms before, so i expect to get poor marks. oh well, life still good. |
