Heres somethin to ponderrr. the fear of grey.
truth vs falsity, good vs bad, heaven vs hell. Each is a duality. In our desire for certainty and comfort in our lives, we cling to notions of black and white. Each of us longs to feel that we have some solid ground under our feet. We rely on these seemingly black and white concepts to provide us with the comfort of having a sense of grounding.
Yet, many things in life cannot be understood using black and white concepts. Was the holocaust good or bad? Well, clearly the suffering and inhumanity were bad. Yet, goodness came in the lessons of bigotry, inhumanity and intolerance. So, maybe the holocaust is not black or white. Perhaps it is a quite dark shade of grey.
While we want to rely on the black or the white to give us our ground, we have to realize that our ground may not be as "solid" as we think. We have to learn to be comfortable with uncertainty. We have to lose our fear of grey. |

| so heres the deal. im not wastin any more time on pushin rocks up hills and crap like the myth of Sisyphus and all the rest of humanity. but if i have to, im choosing to do it, and its gonna be awesome anyway, cause i can see how fast i can push it up or sumthin and itll be great. but yeah, no more wastin time. |
