Turning on your turn signal a split second before you brake and turn helps NO ONE. It DEFINITELY doesn't help me.

The self-checkout is not a difficult piece of machinery. If you can't figure out how to use it and your native tongue is English, you probably shouldn't even be at the grocery store by yourself.

Cabin Fever

I'm at work and I don't want to be. There are like 3 people from my department here. I saw a dead bird right before lunch which was a great pre-lunch image and I'm pretty sure the dead bird would have tasted better than what I ate. Thanksgiving week at IBM... Sanity is a rare commodity.

Now my face is all feverish. The Office ended last week. Heroes and How I Met Your Mother is done in two weeks. My Boys is done indeterminately. Lovely.

Today, I found out another of my favorite authors died. Robert Jordan, the creator of the Wheel of Time series, died at only 58. If any of you have never read the WoT series, I highly recommend them. They are the creation of an amazing writer. RIP.
