Well, I got a new car, its a 1990 legend, only 92k miles on it. Paid only 1800 too. Its worth the money, and Ill definitely get my money's worth on it. Other than that, the house actually looks like a home now. still need to buy a real tv, and a real bed. But cant complain. Started doing more "hands on" material at work.  Cant tell you much, but trust me, its fucking awesome.

My house is finally starting to come together, slowly but surely. I finally got digital cable, internet, and phone. Shit costs me 130 a month! talk about monopolizing. But anywayz, sum of my boys r planning on moving in wif me, we decided to make my house the ultimate bachelors pad. We got two sofas, that are basically gigantic pillows on legs, and sum other random furniture. As soon as I get my bonus I should be buying a big screen tv around 42-60 inches, gonna drop a shit load on that. Then I spent over 200 just stocking up our bar area. I got a lot of good shit though, learning how to mix drinks and shit. Still havent found a car though, really stressin over it. I need wheels, and lack the money right now. However I know I'll find a way.

Another thing is, I actually got home-sick a bit. It's wierd cause I never really worried about stuff like that. Usually I enjoy the places where Im at, and dont think twice about cali, or the west coast. But as I was organizing my photo album, I started wishing for those good old days, and wanting to go back to those times. I guess you wouldnt call it home-sick...well what would you call it?

Okay, I now own a two story ,3 bedroom house, all to myself. "How?" you're probably asking yourself. Well, the military realizing how stupid they were on my situation decided to instead give me a house on base. Base housing is usually restricted to married couples and/or people with dependants. I have neither. Not to mention I have no furniture. So my place reminds of a crackhouse. Not that I've ever been in one......but the whole house is empty, and all I have is a inflattable mattress and a 10" tv. Also I found out that the base housing is not really the main base. Its on a separate section about 5 miles were I am supposed to work. I still havent got a car. I still need to buy a real tv and  computer. Also I cant believe cox cable company is such a rip-off. For me to get digital cable, and internet is going to run me 100 bucks a month. What the fuck?! Its such a monopoly. And on top of that, I havent seen a single minority in town. I feel like Im the only one.....I knew I was unique but not like this.

Ok, well Im in Omaha now, and stressin big time. Im told I cant live in the barracks here on base. This is basically the conversation I had with the person in charge of living quarters.

me: Why cant I live here in the dorms?

bitch: Cause your a Senior Airmen with more than 3 years in service, and we only let Airmen 1st class and below live in the dorms here.

me: Is there any possibility of moving into the dorms even for a lil bit?

bitch: no, sir you have to find a apartment off-base.

me: I can't afford an apartment. Im broke.

bitch: Youll get DLA pay, "dislocation allowance" basically move out money, and the DLA should help with the process.

me: but ma'am I dont have a car.

bitch: buy one.

me: (in the back of my head Im thinking "buy one?! you crazy bitch!" however) I cant afford one, Im waiting on my bonus pay.

bitch: then walk.

You dont know how badly I wanted to just reach over and slap the ho. (no pun intended randy). After our nice little discussion, I went to the 1st Sgt. and explained my situation. So now I might be able to get a house on base. hopefully, and create a foundation for my finances here. Other than that, I've already gotten into a "almost" fight, and drank heavily, but my friends are all white here, so we go to these bars, and Im the only guy thats not "full white" and sometimes it feels kind of wierd. For instance they were playing country and alternative music at this bar I went to, and out of no where I hear a kanye west song, and everyone looks at me. Like they're doing me a favor, and now I gotta breakdance or start rappin or sum shit....wtf?! Just cause I dont wear extremely tight jeans, with a huge belt buckle, plaid shirt, and a cowboy hat? Wait, I do have a.....but anyways...augh! I have a headache.

Well, so ends the last weekend at san fran before I head to Omaha, Ne. I enjoyed coming back. Although things have changed, some for better and some for worse, it felt good to see some old faces before I head to another new place where I have to adjust. Its wierd in the beginning I never wanted to really leave monterey just stay here in cali and chill wif my friends in sf. However in the past four months I've decided to better myself, not only mentally but physically and pshycologically too. I work out more, do more studying, and look forward to my future. I am not sure what the future holds for me, but I do know that the next three years of my years are gonna be a blast. I will go to okinawa in those three years. Thats my goal, and anyone and everyone is invited to visit me there.
