i saw your pics at suyi's (?)! looks so fun. i miss sleepovers..although, it is kind of like a perpetual sleepover for me here in halls..but i dont really have that close friends here so...owells.

i heard you thought my boyfriend was eugene. hahaha. tt's funny! he isn't - he's just my good friend, and he's not a christian. plus, he's one yr younger than me, so that's a no go. haha. :b im not having much guy activity in my life now...there arent any cute guys (well, there's one i guess but i dont really know him) and there is serious lack of christian guys. :( HOW DEPRESSING. owells.

but anyway, how was ur day? i had quite a fun day today - woke up at 830 to go to church for Belonging Day (for church membership) and guess what! i decided to get baptised in Singapore! wooot!(: so this summer will see me being baptised by IMMERSION(: something i gotta be talking to you guys about soon (prolly when im back) too. i cant wait. i was really excited talking to charmian too cos i realised she hadnt been baptised either, so we're prolly gonna do it together! that will be SO fantastic(:

another reason i was excited was because we're really psyched up for this idea. dont think i'll put it here for copyright issues :b but i just cant wait to go back!!!(: haha.

hey. so some stuff to ponder about. why do u do the things you do? what motivates and sustains you? why bother with anything? is it just fun and laughter? is it just cos u want to? or just simply, because? i've been motivated by a whole myriad of reasons - but nothing gives me more joy than being motivated by love. not just love for people, but love for the One who died for me. God's been so good to me i cant even begin to describe(: i will share when im back though, for sure! (:

ewww, i just ate foul tasting celery. bleah. my diet isnt going too well :(

inaugaration.

it's a strange thing xanga isn't working too fine on firefox - looks like i have to be using more internet explorer now and hence exposing myself to spyware and the likes. but nevertheless, hello world! it's absolutely great being in london now - nice warm weather with temperatures hovering around 20 - 24 degrees celsius. if i didnt have darned exams i'd be out every moment of the day soaking up the rays. woot. only unfortunate thing it that i have put on too much weight to be strutting about in tanks and bikinis and such, so there goes my tanning plans until i lose some weight! growl. and my foot's currently injured and hurting, so no frolicking about in the parks or along the beach for me - at least til the inflammation goes away.

but for now, exams beckon. actually, they are staring me in the face. *shudders* but it'll be fine, i hope. i've just been praying and knowing that God's going to bring me through this - after all as someone once said, "some trust in their chariots and horses - but we trust in the name of our Lord." PG^10 000!

i cant wait til i get out of school. here's some summer plans in the works:

31st may: the sleeping beauty ballet at the royal opera house

1st june: filmharmonic concert at the royal albert hall!!(:

2nd - 4th june: bristol

5th - 9th june: paris (woooot!)

10th - 12th june: wales

13 - 15th june: dublin

16th june - 1st july: london

2nd - 9th july: oxford (pray i'll get a spot at the zac trust summer school and raise enough funds for that!)

10th -12th july: london

12th july - sometime in september: Singapore!(:

plus i'm hoping to go to hong kong and beijing sometime in the summer! woot!!(: and hopefully you can come visit at the end of the year!!(:

i guess im excited about going home - i was kinda apprehensive at first..but God's been good! i've been getting really happy about all these things we're going to (hopefully) embark on when im back home. and of course, the wonderful new paper awaits me (eek)! haha.
