The New Captain America Movie/My New PSP

so they found the guy that's going to play captain america in the captain america movie they are making...get a load of this guy! spittin image. super cool!:

i don't know what the guy's name is. i have been trying to find out. someone posted this on one of the message boards i hang out on sometimes. cool though?

also i got a new PSP(play station portable). it's pretty cool. the alien vs predator game stinks though. bad control. don't get it! i got the god of war bundle pack. it came with a god of war game and a movie-which i ruined.

my problem is i don't read directions, but the directions were kind of hard to find. i was trying to find out how to load a game/movie. i thought you had to take the disc out of the little compartment thing it was in, turns out you put the whole thing in! i broke the movie. i called the store because i couldn't figure out how to get the game out of the holder it was in once it's out of the case:

in the above pic, you see that little white case like thing the disc is in? well the whole thing goes into the game system when you play it. i being the idiot that i am didn't know that. i had never messed with a psp before. i'm not a big direction reader, but i had called gamestop where i bought it and told them i was having trouble getting the game out of the inside "case". the guy told me to just open it like a cd. so i took superbad and "pried" my way into it and took out the disc and popped it into the psp. it wouldn't play of course because i had ruined the movie. i'm kind of mad at the guy who i called at the game place, but maybe he just misunderstood me. *sighs*. at least i didn't ruin my game. maybe i can buy another case to hold it in. the have some replacement ones of ebay, i guess for people who think they are know-it-alls like me who break into the disc like me.

Shaving Cat Hair Knots...

ain't easy! especially when it's Isabelle your dealing with!

i'm over at my mom's. Isabelle gets these awful knots...more like clumps in her hair. so every once in a while i help mom hold her and we try to shave them out. i told mom just to take her to the vet and have her shaved for the summer. that would take care of it for a while anyways.

today we were going to go to town, but i was really tired and decided not to. i didn't sleep well last night. UGH! so i am sitting here at their comp blogging a bit. shame on me for not doing more of it lately. usually i can swing blogging about every 3 days or so, but i haven't been doing it lately. i'm on the comp plenty. i just don't think about it. i've had alot on my mind lately.

anyways, i've only got 1 watcher on my KISS cars on ebay. but it's only been 1 day, so it's not too big a deal right now.

Rambo Movie...

i just got through watching the new Rambo movie. I actually liked it. It was as good as the other Rambo movies I think even though Sylvester Stallone is a bit older. I am going to buy it. they have a box set out now i think. i'll get that instead of having to buy them all separate. there are a couple of other boxsets i want. the mummy set. i liked the mummy and the mummy returns with brandon frasier. also i liked to get the superman Christopher Reeve boxset.

well on July 20th i am going into the hospital...again. if all goes well, i'll have to go in maybe 1 more time and then that'll be it! woot for me!

also i decided to keep my KISS action figures and sell my KISS johnny lightning cars on ebay(all 47 off them!). so that's that. i'm not a big car fan anyway.

Wow! It's Been A While...

i just was surfing the net and decided to make an entry. it's been too long since my last one. it's been so hot here. it's been getting up in the 90's everyday. i have been trying to keep from using the air conditioning due to the power bill. last month it was down to 70 dollars! when i first moved into this apartment it was 90 dollars. my mom, god bless her, bought me a fan to put in my bedroom and i leave it on all night, otherwise it would be intolerable. i am going to buy another to put in my living room. maybe that will cover me for the rest of the summer.

i have been cleaning out my middle room and getting some things ready to go to flea market this weekend. i am also selling a couple of things i thought i could get more for on ebay.

i don't want to sell my KISS action figures. i am still debating whether to sell them. my closets are packed with dolls i've collected over time and were gifts from family and i just don't want to part with. i'm running out of room.

my dog peppy has allergies real bad every summer. he itches and his hair ends up coming out where he scratches so much. i am going to get him some medicine for his little allergies soon. i hate having to wait, but money is a problem.

i got my dad an Indiana Jones Card for Daddy's Day. here's a pic.:

i thought it was pretty cool! they had one where it played the indiana jones theme and you could record your own message, but i took the quiet one.

i saw the movie by the way, i liked it, though it wasn't as good as his past movies as indiana jones.

i'm going to see the new indiana jones movie tomorrow, but i saw this tater in the toy store. i loved it so much! when you push his hat down it plays the indiana jones theme song!

to the old xanga page. alot of widgets and things i wanted to put on my xanga themes page worked at first and then wouldn't work anymore. so i got frustrated and just changed back. i had alot of hope for the xanga themes. don't get me wrong, it is pretty cool in some ways, but in some ways it stinks. it was acting all funky and i just couldn't fix it the way i wanted to. i'll miss the video widget and photo widget. the friend and subscriber widget was neat too. but i wanted my blogcatalog and bloglog widget, so i could see when my friends were visiting me. it'll do anyways.

at the top i have a photoblog a friend named todd found and shared. i can send pics straight from my cell phone to my blog! it's called uphoneblog. you can find it at http://www.uphoneblog.com .
