NEW LIFE

It's been almost two YEARS since I've posted on this thing, but I felt like this event was xanga-worthy.  I'm flying out to LOS ANGELES tomorrow for law school - that's right, I'll be spending 3+ years in the city of angels.  A little combinations of anxiety, nervousness, excitement, and dread.  I hope I know what I'm getting myself into.  For starters, I don't even know where I'm going to live.  Plus I need to buy a car and furniture out there....

Then when law school starts, I have other concerns like getting good grades (I hear there are not too many dumb people in law school, damnit!), getting a job (I'm costing my parents a gazillion dollars), and making friends (although I guess I can just spend the extra free time studying).

Luckily, I already know a few people out there, so it won't be the WORST, but still a little nervous.  I have to say that this feels like going to undergrad all over again.

WOW, it's been over a year since I've touched this thing.  I'm only writing b/c a certain person has forced me to.  There's really nothing that important going on in my life.  I think I've become bored of it; it's time for me to make a change, altho I don't know what that will be.  I guess when I go back to school, it'll force me start over again: make new friends, become familiar with another city... Hopefully that will keep me entertained for a year or so.  I really feel that no matter what I do, I will always become bored with it- It must be the brain surgery.

HI EVERYONE:

So now it's time for my monthly update.  First of all, I am SICK...I keep coughing and my stomach was not feeling too well last night.  So I took some NyQuil and slept for literally 18 hours today.  I woke up at 4pm only to go back to sleep at 6 and wake up at 8pm again.  Such a sad life...

Training in Arizona was fun, met some people who I will never see again probably, but all in all, I had good times.

And as I was driving around in my drugged state today (thanks to Vicks NyQuil), I started thinking about a bunch of stuff.  Yes, I know; it's hard to believe that I can be serious for once.  WHAT THE HELL am I doing as an accountant!?  I honestly cannot think of an answer to that one, except that I need money to live.  It's sad because I'd like to think that I am an idealistic person, and yet here I am, graduated with a "practical" degree so I can get a job.

Anyway, I'm just bummed out (partly because I am sick) because I feel as though I have little control over my life, and the popular idiom "You can be anything you want to be" that we all hear as a little kid will, unfortunately, never come true.

Sorry to depress you guys; it must that I'm getting old and yet still have no direction.

Hello Everyone,  I know it's been quite awhile since I've last updated, but I have an excuse!!! I was in Taiwan!!  Well, my time in Texas is coming to a close, as I am leaving in two nights.  I have to say that I am a bit sad and anxious; I had such a great time this summer.  I'm just going to throw out A LOT of random phrases and things and hopefully you can relate to some of them....

Kodac Picture Spots, NASA, Rockclimbing, Scandalous, Korean soap opera with dumb girl, Handicapped parking, Iced tea disaster, Rachael Ray, BFF madness, JP Morgan porn sites, right vs. write, Running over potholes and paying $1700 for replacement tires, Disappearing expirartion dates, Primeval whirl, tons of Mah Jong, Dave and Busters, Wine tasting, Great Dalmuti, Essence @ New Oreleans, Matinees w/YuGiOh, Mud pies and dirt, Hoobastank = Madonna, GOSSIP @ Starbucks, Mo/Mon/Monica, Running over tires, 6th/Main street drunkness, Beach Spikers, No pictures by lightswitches, Boo-ho, 1/3 pound burger, Eating tons of smelly tofu, replaying The Promise over and over..., Madison = slutty Barbie, Karaoke til 6am, "Music Against the World," Singing at Lien's wedding, first Mexican Martini, Stopping at EVERY state border, and we must NOT forget Men's Floor Exercises!

Thank you all, friends and family, for an unforgettable summer, and I truly wish that we all stay in touch.

Please don't try so hard to say goodbye

It has been a long time since I've updated, so I'll try to sum up the month of june/early july in one paragraph.

I think I have been out drinking more times this summer than the previous two years of college combined.  Alcohol is bad for you cuz they are empty calories that just end up to make you fat.  Disneyworld/New Orleans was fun; I especially liked the new Space Ranger ride they had.  AND the Winnie the Pooh ride.  I'm going to leave for Taiwan tomorrow, so in case I don't see some of you fellow Texans when I get back, GOODBYE and I will come visit you, I promise.
