| so I haven't updated in a really long time. the semester ended, and I've been home for almost two months. I have been working a lot and got to go visit Phillip and his family for almost a week. I'm looking for more work, and he's giving his first sermon in 3 weeks and I hope to be able to go. there's kind of a lot going on, my sister Joy just got married and my uncle is getting buried next week. it's pretty basic, which is why I haven't posted. sorry about that. if I got more comments or anything from people maybe I'd be more active on here. later! | | |
| goodness, the semester is almost over, and I come home on Saturday. I'm glad to be done with school, but I don't want to leave here.... it's going to be an interesting summer.... I don't have much else to say with time, but it's been forever since I'd updated sooo | | |
| God is so neat. I went to this small group called the Fire last semester, and this semester the leader decided to have me and a group of us take it over. He's graduating, and needs to equip new leaders. so me, Phillip, Scooby, and Belinda have been meeting with Luis for a couple months and getting to know each other and prepare to start up the Fire again. we're going to start meeting again next week, and I get to teach about salvation the week after! I'm sooo excited to see what God's going to do with the Fire even this semester, and next year when me, Phil, Scooby, and Belinda if she's here run it. wow. isn't it neat how God uses us in big ways that we don't expect? man...... got me speechless.... | | |
| so Spring break is over, and I'm back at school. I'm quite glad to be back, but I had an excellent time on break. it was all good and stuff. we went to the city on Tuesday (that is, New York City) and met up with Phil and his cousin Skye. we went to central park and to Times Square. it was lots of fun. aanndddd we went to New Hampshire! I was disappointed that I didn't see that many people, but it was still nice to be home for a bit. spending time with family is always nice. and classes are back, we're about to pick classes for next semester also, so I'm kind of excited. I guess that's kinda all. maybe I'll put up some pictures from spring break sometime soon. my entries feel so boring lately, I'm sorry, if you have any suggestions or questions about anything you want me to talk about, let me know. later dudes. | | |
| ironically enough, I'm sicker the last couple days... I've had a fairly high fever, higher when I wake up, and like my throat is swollen and hard to swallow, my ears and head are all stuffy and my nose. I think I've gone through 2 boxes of tissues.... it's funny, too, to see people's reactions. I've been like this since kinda Thursday but definitely all of Friday. so some people are all "can I get you anything?" and then some people just give me a sympathetic "I hope you get better" which all totally matches their personalities. it's funny I think. it's tough, though, cuz I haven't done any of the schoolwork I need to get done before leaving Wednesday for spring break. all well. I can't think of anything else. unfortunately, it appears as though sickness has consumed my life lately... | | |
