One plus one is two and truth is just as narrow. So if Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life and no one come to the father but through me what dose that mean… well thank u for asking It means that if one dose not know Jesus they do not know the Father. But you say “Jacob! I don’t now believe in the bible! I believe that Jesus was just a good man” I say two things to that. One first of all in historical terms the bibles Gospels (the good news that the GOD MAN Jesus died for you the worst of sinners A.K.A YOU!!!) that we have about Jesus were written with in one generation of his death. Which means that anyone that wish to say “that is a lie I was there” it would have been that generation and on top of that it was the Passover witch mean that a large group of Jews were there from other places like Asia, Rome, and Africa so even when the Gospel went other places like Rome it could have been denied there as well. Yet it was not and is still going. Second: now that we see that the Gospel can be trusted we can see that Jesus him self said that only God is good.

17 And as he was setting out on his journey, a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. 19 You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’” 20 And he said to him, “Teacher, all these I have kept from my youth.” 21 And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22 Disheartened by the saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.” Translation (ESV)

This is one places, of many, were Jesus challenges us to see that he did not see himself as a man but as an equal with God. Plus this statement comes form Mark which was the first Gospel and written for accuracy. So we know ether say ”No not so much ” or say “My will is not my own and I summit to the love and grace that was given to me on the cross and now will LOVE GOD “JESUS” for he love me first and forgave me”
