...it's summertime....

well lets see.....its been quite  awhile since I have written anyhting on here...its becoming more of a yearly thing i guess.lol

I'm at Southeastern now majoring in Social Work.  I love it @ SEU and encourage any one I can to go there!!! its a great school....well ya know i am a bit partial but I've learned alot as well as been challenged greatly.  I have made some incredible friends that will last for a lifetime.

This past year I worked for an entertainment compant and made baloon animlas in restaurants...which I am currently doing in the Fort.  I also worked @ Victory Christian Academy in teh after care program...which I really enjoyed and I have TONNNSSSS of stories : ) I miss those kids : (

I am still involved in ministry adn loving every moment of it!! I work in the Children's department at my church, HArvest ASsembly of God: which is where I met two of the most incredible people ever! Pastor Robby and Sydney Morrow.  I will be working a kids crusade in Lakeland the 12-15 which I am STOKED ABOUT!!!!!!  I have also been asked to go to Africa on a mission trip in September to do evangelism.  Pray that God brings all the funds through for that trip as well as grace from my professors so i can miss  2 weeks of classes... : )

As for this fine summer of 2007....let me just say it seems to be a time God is using to test my trust in him....from a job to other situations.....its been Exciting..lemme tell ya...lol

I am working on the weekends making baloon animals (it pays good...so if anyone wants to get into it..let me know b/c were trying to get it started down here rather than only in Orlando).  I am also nannying this summer for two boys ages six and seven.  Oh, and I'm looking for a night job during the week (mon-fri) so if anybody knows of anything let me know!!

well, thats all for this year lol...

its been awhile.......

hey y'all.

wow.......its been awhile since i've written anything on here.....so lemmmmeee see.....um,i started working @ mcgregor Baptist on monday on their summer camp program.  The first day was abit weird, but its all good.  TOday was day 2 and it was fun. 

so i got back from Ga. visiting my dad and my gpa.  It was funny...like this one day my gpa sat in his tree stand with his shot gun waiting to shoot the deer that had been eatin' his garden.  MY grandpa has chickens and a few gardens.  He's kidna funny b/c he wears the same clothes like 3 days in a row and his button up plaid shirts are always like 2 buttons off.  so like the one side is like 3 inches longer than the other.  Its just funny.  oh, we were were in GA we were like 30 minutes from wal-mart and I actually like the quietness. Naomi on the other hand......(when we did go ot WAlly world one day).....said"we were going to civilization" on our way to wal-mart......geesh......she IS SUCH a city girl.  Anyways, it was hard leavin' my dad.  He started chemo last wed and was treated wed, thuts, & friday.  he doesn'thave to go in for 3 weeks. so thats good.  well, i hope y'all are havin' a FANTASTIC summer.......love y'all!!!!

I have peace......and I'm not afraid

so hey everybody!

Mr. Pringle offered me a job.  I am helping them pack up their house and clean....stuff like that.  Its been interesting.  A lot has been goin on with my family--if you all could please pray b/c my dad was diagnosed with cancer on Wednesday--he's not a christian.  when i foudn out i took it pretty hard, but GOd is incredible because in my devos about 2 days before i foudn out, verses kept popping out @ me that God is with us in hard times and that He is our support. Yeah, a lot has been goin' on in the past month or so, but God will use it all to shape me into who He wants me to become.....the tough part is sticking it out and trustig Him. 

Everyone has been telling me that this is happening for a reason--and it is--no one know the plan for this or purpose, but God has given me a lot of peace thru this.  I know it sounds weird, but God will take care of it.

So thanks everybody for your prayers......my family and I definately are grateful.  WEll, I hope y'alls summers are going great....

well hey everybody...its been awhile since i've blogged here........i've kinda switched to myspace. : ) so lets seeeeeee.......i jsut got back from Tennessee.  I was there for a week visiting my 89 yr old GReat GRandma and cousins.....all family.  We have friends who have a cabin in Gatlinburg and they let us use it for free.......it was awesome.....other than the fact my phone didn't work up there............and there wasn't a computer........so i was dyeing for a little bit, but i made it thru ok. : )

well....the PBR in this friday night and i'm excited wooo hooooo!!!!! it should be fun . oh, the PBR is the Professional Bull Riders........just to let y'all know. ANYWAYS....well, i'm gonna go now......bye!
