No words can describe how i feel tonight. It was a good night and i am so thankful to the Lord.

Tonight, at the church in Brodhead, the Childrens ministry was having some sort of activity going on and i was asked to share about the differences here and in HK, in terms of being free to worship. Cuz their theme is being thankful they live in the US because they are free to believe in God and they don't have to be hiding it or something. I was just so blessed to be given this opportunity.

Anyways, i was asked to share to them. The childrens ministry is big. It was divided into 2 groups one was for ages 5-7 and the next was from 8-11. I told them they should be thankful and how different it is in other countries. I encouraged them to be more passionate about God and now is the best time, while you are young. i was so encouraged to share with them. I was a little nervous because i haven't been able to stand up before children and actually share with them...(i mean i remember reading books to the kids back in HK but not really share) gets? It was such a good night. It was also a chance to testify on the Lords goodness.

They asked me to sing too! hehe. they asked me to sing a tagalog song. So i sang the verse and chorus of itataas ko ang dakilang ngalan mo. Later they asked me to sing an eng song and i sang so close. and finally a mix of both. i sang the song tita gapei composed and translated the chorus . It was also a good chance to tell them how great God is moving among the Youth. Afterwards 2 girls came up to me and asked for my autograph! hehe. It was cute. I was also able to make lots of friends.

Many were encouraged, and i believe it was the Lord's victory. What made the night even better was that a lady came up to me and said that some of these children come from families who don't even go to church and it was really good for them to come and actually listen and know about God. I thank the Lord talaga for this opportunity. All the praises, glory, honour, adoration to The Lord, who makes all things new!

Hi. i thought i'd blog, but no pics this time...sorry. :)

God has been so good. Really. Its amazing. I don't know how to describe or to put in words what i feel right now.

Have you ever come to a point when you just asking silly questions which you know deep within you the answer? Its like whenever i ask myself these questions and bring them to God, i find myself just complaining with no good excuse. its like God always has an answer which just leaves me speechless. It is then i realize how important prayer, reading the bible or just calling upon His name. Sometimes i feel...alone. Just please keep praying for me.

we went down to Quincy IL to see Paul's grandma. She is a very nice lady. We went to her church on sunday and the pastor was really encouraging. You can see that he is really on fire. There was a lady who offered 2 songs and i could just see the life of the Lord shine through her. What she said was so powerful, too. she said "God didn't fail me,and He won't fail you either."

By the way, Sarah recommended this song, its called "Someday" by LaRue. Its about waiting for God's best.

NEW LAYOUT!!! THANKS TITA KAMOL! While i was uploading the pics she was working on it at the same time! galing noh?! hehe.

hi ulit. i just felt like updating. i was sentimental in my last blog, but i think i'm ok now. i finally had a long chat with cams... how i mish u! she just cracks me up, and its so natural for her...or either i'm just easily-amused.

speaking of being easily amused (mababaw ang kaligayahan ko, or sth,correct me if i'm wrong.) it actually SNOWED yesterday. Well it wasn't a heavy snowfall, but it snowed small flakes. i woke up that morning and looked out my window to see bits of snow. So i got up and walked out to the living room. Out the patio door i saw snow on the ground. i was tempted to go out and touch it, but when i opened the door, it was sooooooooo cold. not only that, it was windy too. so i thought, nevermind, i can wait. So i closed the door and decided to eat breakfast.

I can't wait for more snow! haha. I was so amused with everything i saw. Like a child. haha.

Hi everyone! well...several things happend, first of, i just want to thank the Lord for what He has done in my life. My grades are great. and i actually made the honor roll! In my first quarter grades, i got 3 As, 2 Bs and a C+ which is in Adv.bio. My GPA is 3.39 (on a 4.0 scale). I still don't get the grading system here, but its ok. I got a B in my trigonometry, which is so weird. Everyone who knows knows me well surely knows that i don't get good grades in math.

Last saturday, Paul and Jodi took me to the Christian bookstore in Janesville. It was awesome. I bought a shirt and 2 posters. One says "Our God is an awesome God" and the other is quoted from 1 Peter 3:3-4. "Beauty should not come from outward adornment, instead it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight."

*sigh* I miss Hong Kong. I miss everyone. *sigh* When i read the comments from tita gapei and tita kamol, suddenly i felt well, not really homesick, but this overwhelming feeling of missing them soooo much. well, not just them, but my whole family. ate lei, tita gapei, tita kamol.... i miss you girls soooooooooooooo much. You're like my family. *sigh* i miss you. We are all so far away from eachother, sometimes i can't believe it.

I just wanna blog about you guys tonight. Before everyone else who means soooooooooo much to me as well came, it was us 4. We are like the base, kaya pag may B.S. wen its just us we say "well, back to the base" well something like that. You girls mean alot to me, and i am so thankful to the Lord that He has not only given me friends, instead sisters, who know me and know just the right words to cheer me up. We grew up together spiritually, we've seen eachother fall and how the Lord has lifted us up again. We are more than just friends. we are like sisters. Different yet alike.

hi! i just wanted to blog again... i just can't help it, just felt like updating and adding more pics.

I went raking leaves today... it was so much fun playing in the leaves. Fall is a beautiful season.

I just got back from Youth group tonight. It was fun, i like what i'm getting out of it. Sarah took me home, she is super nice grabe i really like her shes so sweet and friendly! We talk about alot of stuff, too, which is good.

Hi!!!! Today i was able to be on the worship team. There are 3 worship leaders and i was one of them! it was so great! I am so blessed that the Lord gave me this opportunity... I am just so amazed... The Lord has been so good to me, and i sometimes ignore that. Its just so amazing to be in His presence and to just... melt... know what i mean? Gosh i just couldn't put into words how i feel right now...

Sorry i wasn't able to update my xanga... now i am though. October 13... thats a long time, atleast i got 22 props! :)

I am enjoying it here, the weather is getting alot colder and rainy. There was a storm last night, and the lightning was just waaa!!!

I was in a musical and its finally over... i can't belive it, after all those practices. It was fun, i was able to make alot of good friends, you kinda become like a family in a way.

Hmmm...what else can i say? Oh ya, I am enjoying it here alot, the country is just soooo beautiful, it is nothing like HK, it is really something different. People here are just so friendly and kind, even in the shops in the cashier they ask you how you are and smile and stuff like that... you don't get that in HK or in the PI. Thats a good thing about small towns. *sigh* i love it here.

About school, its a battle to keep my grades up, i've never had such high expectations on myself regarding that. In my Spanish class my grade is an A- and i wasn't too happy about it ( I want an A) and in DOCA (Development Of Contemporary America) i got a B+. I want an A on that as well. Kse here an A- and and A can really affect you and your GPA, and i want to stay on Honor Study Hall so i have to keep my grades up. About trig.. *sigh* it isn't anywhere near an A, but it got up from a D+ to a C :) Well, i still love my classes, especially being on the paper, that is so cool. I am using the font that we are supposed to use when we type our article. Georgia. its nice.

i wanna change my layout... blue clashes with orange, i know. tita camol! gawa mo ko layout! hehehe j/k! or if you really can, if you're not busy... :)

EXCHANGE STUDENTS PARTY- This was last week of sept. student council organized a party for the exchange students. it was held in the Pavillion of the school. There was lots of food and we played games, too!

Hi! just taking the time to blog. Its been good so afr, thank you Lord... I got my progress gardes mailed int he other night and my grades are pretty good... except for that D+ in Trig and the C+ in Adv. Bio, i got 4 As. Its amazing. Also in my first Trig test, i got and A, a beautiful 96%. Its so great cuz never in my LIFE have i gotten an A in any math subject.

God has been moving. Its so sad to see here that the discuission of God is considered... too sensitive, and somewhat offensive to others. My host parents have been telling me of a Christian school here and it is not funded at all by the government because its a christian school. It violates the principle of seperation of State and Church. I also wrote and article for the school paper and i mentioned God helping me make Wisconsin a home away from home. and my teacher told me to erase God, cuz its like i'm promoting it or something. I was hurt by that, but i just have to understand. Many don't know what they are missing.

AGAPE GONZALES : Finally i spoke to you! sensya na i can't call you back yet, but i will try, for now e-mail muna! oh ya, i still feel bad for your block schedule. don't worry, you'll do great, you've got the Lord in you! i miss you alot tita gapei!

GRACE CHAN: Keep on praying. i know the Lord is going to use you mightily. Its hard when there are people who just have negative thinking about you, but just be humble and the Lord will lift you up in due time!

CAMILLE REAL: Bebe! i mish you! i hope we can talk! i really want to hear your voice and know whats going on. congrats in getting in to FEU! grabe dis girls gonna be a science whiz! i know somehow you will get in to UST as well. Keep claiming it and praying for it! I mish you tita kamol!

This is so cool...

Anyway... i'm finally blogging. School is fine... Homecoming week is coming and i hear its a crazy week... I've started taking the school bus... yup, that big yellow school bus. Most of the people in there are elementary kids, so they are quite noisy! cuz 95% of high school people drive to school, so very few take the bus. but hey it can be fun! I've made friends here, too. I hope i can post their pictures soon. The grading system here is so weird... if i will compare my grades the HK way, they are pretty good.

Thats just a short blog for now.

When i arrived in O'Hare Airport. This is me and Elaine, a girl from Switzerland. She's nice. She's up in Eau Claire and i haven't heard from her. We were both tired but we still smiled.

In our hotel room in Madison (outside of Madison actually) Thats Ricarda from Germany and Jan (Y-an) from Slovakia. Jan is in Idaho...won't see him again and Ricarda lives in Albany. Her school and my school had a ball game against eachother and we lost. Her school won.

SEPTEMBER 10 SATURDAY.

We had our first AFS get-together at Fall River High School in Columbus. I had alot of fun! There were so many of us, around 70 or so. We palyed volleyball, swimming and later played volleyball again. Suddenly i was so energetic. I wasn't able to take so many pics though... ENJOY!

In Wisconsin there were many new things i did, this was 1 of them and you can easily tell that it IS something new to me. I was feeding a calf at the Wellnitz farm. (a.k.a. A once in a lifetime experience.)
