Today's Chinese Fortune

You'll somewhat lack tonicity; an important intake of vitamin C will help you to recover vigor without difficulty. If you've a high cholesterol level, reduce your intake of calories. This astral ambiance will be apt to transform you gently, almost imperceptibly, by discarding your defenses and by freeing you from the reasoning and reasonable side to your character. It's not impossible your affective life this time takes on a new and more agreeable turn than you had expected before; be ready to enjoy the new situation to the full.

Hmmm, more things to think about here.

This is how I feel...

...about today's weather. I'm thinking about installing the a/c unit in the bedroom window.

I'm beginning to think the best job in the world is "weatherman". Where else can you get paid for being right only a portion of the time?

Still looking for that special LTR

Today's Chinese Astrology...

"You'll be able to harmonize the family relationships on condition to show plenty of good will. Your children will give you many reasons for satisfaction. Beware not to embark on an impossible love story; indeed, you may be powerfully attracted to a person who does not suit you on the intellectual or sexual plane or whose aspirations are totally different from yours. Good state of health, but with a tendency to insomnia because of your hectic life tempo; try to relax often during the day."

These have been more accurate for me than not. I should probably take this to heart. After an experience this past weekend with a friend of mine, I should be careful not to embark on the "impossible love story".

Oh well, I'm still waiting for that special long-term relationship. I wonder where he is?

Catching up...

It has been a while since I posted, so I should do some catching up. Life has been getting better. In therapy I'm learning more about myself and why I have been carrying some of the baggage that I have been hauling around for many years. My therapist uses the statement that we need to do some "unpacking" which, when you think of baggage, is a good term to employ. He's a nice guy and I regret when the hour comes to an end each week.

The chorus has completed our 27th season during Pride weekend in June. The title of the show was "Love is A Many Splendored Thing". It was a lot of romance, love songs and some fun. I bet there will be a new CD coming out of this.

During the last couple of months I've been out of the house learning a few things, listening to a few people, and having some fun at the same time. I'm posting a few pictures here of some of the people I have met along the way.

U.S. Congressional candidate Ashwin Madia

U.S. Senate Candidate Al Franken

Next week the chorus will travel to Miami, FL for Festival 2008, a choral music festival sponsored by the Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses (GALA). It is held every four years somewhere in North America. My pictures will be posted in a gallery at my smugmug site.

You can see pictures from Pride weekend at smugmug too. More later!
