| a war worth bein' inmaybe i jumped into conclusions ‘bit too early.
after a talk to my girlfriend, a read of an internet article titled “playstation three vs. xbox three-sixt" (link), and a read of an article in tuesday’s newspaper i have come to a sorta different view to the situation. but no, i still havent changed my mind of gettin’ a playstation three.
what made sense was that in my belief, i truly reckon that the xbox three-sixty is the dominant between the playstation three and the three-sixty. with online, the exclusives, and price the xbox three-sixty, i feel like the xbox three-sixty is one worth its weight in the gaming war at this moment... but... the playstation three’s capabilities and the size of blu-ray, its possible that the playstation three is the eventual winner of the two. with both consoles with the current situation, the xbox three-sixty has a steady lead but if the xbox three-sixty continues with this for the next few years then the playstation three will catch up and be the one to get. the xbox three-sixty had a whole year in front of the playstation three, this head start got developers to start early with next-gen games. for that, the titles racked up for the three-sixty. plus the fact that the xbox three-sixty uses a dvd format (im not sure if its regular dvd or hd dvd) for their games, developers are still makin’ games within their comfort zone. the playstation three’s games are on blu-ray format. the technology is more advanced than a normal dvd. so you could see that developers would rather use what theyve got now rather than spend more to get the technology to make games on blu-ray. somethin’ like that. but its inevitable that more and more developers would choose to use blu-ray, due to its size of a disk. everyone would rather one disk rather than four. just one of the reasons that playstation has a better future than the xbox three-sixty.
but this now, and what is now is the xbox three-sixty. ive got plenty of time before the playstation three surpasses the three-sixty. and when that time comes, then i will get a playstation three. so no, i aint anti-playstation three, but still prefer the xbox three-sixty... im just waitin’ for playstation three’s prime. that, and to release more games (more notability, final fantasy versus thirteen).
so what about the wii? over the last few posts, ive explained my views on the xbox three-sixty versus the playstation three and the playstation portable versus and the nintendo ds... so where does the wii come into all this? for me, i view the wii out of the gaming war between the xbox three-sixty and playstation three. this is because the wii is a league of its own. this is why the wii is sellin’ more than the playstation three and the xbox three-sixty combined. i want to note that as my first console bein’ the sega md. my gamin’ life started me as a sega fanboy in the gaming war between the mega drive and super nintendo. so yes, i am anti-nintendo. so bein’ anti-nintendo, ive only grown to love the gameboy advance, the gamecube (when the console died not too long ago), and the super nintendo. the wii and ds on the other hand, they offer somethin’ different other than a cheaper alternative. the unusual gameplay has led to an intriguing title line up. with sega bein’ a third party game developer, we see sonic along side mario in olymipics and brawl. shit like that, has made lessen the blow to my anti-nintendoism. i would consider myself anti-nintendo to a lesser degree, but the approaches that nintendo always makes will still always make me consider xbox (three-sixty) and playstation (three and psp) over nintendo (wii and ds).
for gaming collection purposes, my aim to own every single current gaming console and handheld by end of the year. which brings me to... i was bored the other day, and y’know when you sit in front of the google homepage contemplating what to search? i had a good ol’ sit in the front of the screen for ages. what eventually came to mind was the amount of final fantasy i own. i admit my collection isnnt the greatest final fantasy collections, but i wanted to see other people’s collections to see how far off am i. so i searched somethin’ like “largest final fantasy collection”, i dunno i cant remember. and in google images, it came up with a photo of someone’s collection of final fantasies. this as it is, was pretty impressive amount. headin’ into that site in where the image originated, i found out it was apart of an interview. the interview wasnt of a famous person but of a game collector. after readin’ the whole post, i released i was in a game collectors union, or to be exact the “candid collectors union” in the gamespot website (or “ccu” for short). for some reason, it made me really want to collect more games. i think this was the day i posted the rare games (“rareness” on july fifteen). but anywayz, i counted my games and found out that i have ‘round ninty-five xbox three-sixty, wii, original xbox, gamecube, playstation two, playstation portable and nintendo ds games combined. i have around ten gameboy advance games, five playstation one games, one super nintendo game, and thirty-two sega mega drive games (md games all with its original cases and most with manuals). i feel like, by the end of the year, i could have a whole lot more, which would contain triple the amount of three sixty games and a couple of more titles for the playstation three, wii, and psp. by then i can finally take a picture of my collection and send it to ccu. hardcore.
one thing to note, check out the current music. no rnb or hip hop. damn.
video games im currently playin’: smackdown vs raw 08 featuring ecw (xbox three-sixty) and guitar hero three: legends of rock (xbox three-sixty) tunes im currently listenin’: lost prophets’ “rooftops” and metro station’s “shake it” tv shows currently watchin’: sonic x eye candy of the moment: kate beckinsale and torrie wilson // im a gamer, but also a true game collector

| thats one less reason to get a PS3, two leftsome bad shit on the gaming news yesterday.
“over the next three years, microsoft would announce several more square enix games for the xbox three-sixty, including the exclusive star ocean: the last hope and the timed exclusive the last remnant. however, in many gamers’ minds these projects were dwarfed in importance by the stature of the two other square enix games: final fantasy thirteen and final fantasy thirteen versus, both playstation three exclusives... until today. this morning at its press briefing at the E3 media and business summit, microsoft stunned many in the audience by announing that final fantasy thirteen is now development for the xbox three-sixty. not only is the game coming to the console, but it will arrive on the same day and date as the playstation three” – tor thorsen, gamespot (reference: http://e3.gamespot.com/story.html?sid=6193730&pid=950899)
no seriously, thats fucking bs. fuck you square enix, gimmie a another reason to not get a playstation three. what great timing too, from a few days short from decidin’ to get a playstation three... now what? actually, its not square enix's bad its more sony. what is wrong with the fuckers? first they decide to stop production with a eighty gig playstation for us here in australia, now they managed to lose a game thats worth buyin’ a whole console for. wow, so the only game im planned to get on the playstation three is metal gear solid. great. is that worth seven hundred dollars? fuck off. i cant play playstation two games (which i have a stack worth of still playin’, like final fantasies and resident evils) and i would rather get final fantasy thirteen on the three-sixty. at this point, i would rather upgrade my three-sixty, wii and get a final fantasy psp. hell with my playstation three, i would get a plasma. yeah fuck.
but its not all lost. final fantasy versus thirteen is still, at this time, a playstation exclusive. this is the final straw for the playstation three, if this game moves to xbox, then it will be that i wont be the owner of metal gear solid four. wow, to see the posts before of the hype of metal gear solid get shot down soo damn quickly. metal gear solid four and final fantasy versus thirteen are the top game i wanted to get. the other games; ninja gaiden sigma (which i could miss, since i own the original on xbox still), haze, little big planet, everybody’s golf: world tour (which i could miss since i have everybody’s golf on playstation two), and disgaea three. thats pretty much it that im interested in gettin’. the playstation three gamin’ library is pathetically shockin’. metal gear solid and versus thirteen are the only ones i would get straight away. but now, metal gear aint that worth gettin’ the whole console for. i think its now official that ive pushed back my wantin’ a playstation three to a later date. prolly when i get a job, and when final fantasy thirteen and its versus other come out. hopefully, versus will come with a playstation three package then i will pay full price for that. but yeah, as if thats gonna happen knowin' all the shit thats goin' down at the moment. i was supposed to be a gamer, to experience all sides of the gamin' world. but this is shithouse. knowin' that i only have two titles to choose from...
pags, if youre readin’ this, this is good news for you. i was plannin’ to only get an elite only if i had enough money after gettin’ a playstation three... but...
video game currently playin’: guitar hero three: legends of rock (xbox three-sixty) // is this the start of bein’ anti-playstation three?

| rarenessive been head up with stress and shit for the last few days that i haven’t been able to hit my xanga as much as i used to. there was post after post about shit all, now im reduced to merely a post per week. its really bad, but i’ll try and write more.
with my twenty-first brewin’ up closer and closer, that’s means its closer to that playstation three i maybe gettin’ and the wii i will be half gettin’. the other thing i will be expectin’ is the diablo battlechest. i finally found it in eb games, i had to travel ‘bit just to grab the last one that i was willin’ to travel just to grab it. but i haven’t got it yet, my girlfriend bought it and told me that i aint gettin’ nothin’ until my birthday. that’s fair enough, i got lots of shit to do before then anywhooz. plus ive got a lot of time before diablo three comes out. but this led to me thinkin’ last night of all the rare games out there.
sonic advance two (gameboy advance): if you haven’t played this sonic, you haven’t played a sonic game to its fullest. there has never been a game since the original md sonic the hedgehog that’s been true to its roots and made it even better. the way sonic flies through the levels in this game, its mad. they have even said that sonic is too fast for this game. but then ‘gain, that’s what makes this that much better. you’ll never find a real copy of this game out in ebay. you’ll be lucky to find this boxed with its manual. if you do, make sure you pay top dollar for it and sell it on ebay for more that what you paid for. there will be a lot of people (including me) who will do everythin’ to get this beauty of a sonic game.
sonic advance three (gameboy advance): pretty much goin’ back to the days where sonic and tails used to work as a team in sonic two and three, this game plays out to be a step down from sonic advance two. but some reason, this game just disappeared. its not as hard to find this game, but once you do keep it. it might prove out to be a wise decision.
metal gear solid: the twin snakes (gamecube): this game goes for two hundred dollars no matter where you go. if you find this for anythin’ less, you are a champion. this is a remake of the playstation hit, but its upgraded with extra features for metal gear solid two: sons of liberty and upgraded graphics. this is must have if you love metal gear.
resident evil (gamecube): another remake. another rare classic that’s now somethin’ to look out for. there has been a few other ports for this game, but the gamecube is the only one that has a total remake of the whole game. the game’s stunnin’ visuals makes it the more reason to wet your pants. im sure if you can get yourself one these, you can keep it for a while and expect big things from this game. the resident evil series is far from dead, and to have the best version of the original evil you are lookin’ at a profit maker. other titles to look out for are the other resident evils on gamecube, though three of them are ports of the original playstation one. it would be a big investment if had resident zero to four on gamecube and sold it as a package. big money. which brings me to…
resident evil zero (gamecube): theres not much people who knew about this game. though there is a remake for the wii, but that’s only for japan. that’s a poor move for capcom, because this is a beauty of resident evil game. especially when this a prequel to the resident evil series, that’s massive. find it, play it, keep it.
grandia (playstation one): i could say pretty much any playstation one rpg title and put it on the list. the playstation one brought out a lot of classic rpg titles, and if you don’t believe me, compare the final fantasy titles on the playstation one compared to the final fantasy titles on the playstation two. anywayz, grandia i felt was an unmissable title to play. everythin’ from the gameplay, the characters, and the storyline were unique. i had this game, after sellin’ this game, i cannot find this game at all. stupid.
final fantasy seven, eight, and nine (playstation one): i had to include all three titles on one because they all go the same way, if you find any black labelled (non-platinum version) you have a massive final fantasy game. ive seen ebay go crazy with these. the most fucked it saw was a four hundred dollar package for all three and the other final fantasy compilations. whatever you do, keep your final fantasy games with their black labels.
marvel vs. capcom two (playstation two or xbox): i could also mention that this also came out on dreamcast, but anythin’ dreamcast is rare since the last sega console died ages ago. but still, the playstation two and xbox versions are a lil’ somethin’ to look out for since these games are an arcade landmark. i managed to receive this game for fifteen dollars and i am still in shock on how much cheap i found this game.
final fantasy crystal chronicles (gamecube): another title i found for fifteen dollars and i am laughin’ on what luck i found this on. the only gamecube final fantasy game will go all out on price if you try and search for it. that, or its gone.
zelda: twilight princess (gamecube): surprised to see this on the list? this game is still very easy to find on the wii console, but the gamecube version is lost and far rare to find. everyone would want to grab this game, since this is one of the best games on the gamecube. plus unlike the wii version, it stays true to the true link where he is a natural left-hander (where the wii version has link as a right hander so suit the majority that are right-handers, remember right handers play the wii with the wii-mote with their right hand). though any zelda game (other than twilight princess on wii) will play out the same way, everyone wants them but they aint much out there.
aight, i dunno if can write more. i think my time is up for nowz. i gotta head off. but there a huge amount of games that are rare. these are the ones that i wanted to have.
video games im currently playin’: guitar hero three: legends of rock (xbox three-sixty), guitar hero: on tour (nintendo ds), fear (xbox three-sixty), outlaw golf (xbox) and the darkness (xbox three-sixty) tunes im currently listenin’: the dream’s “love with your girl (feat. fabulous)” and pretty ricky’s “cuddle up (feat. butta créame)” // lession here, never sell a game you own

| what i think "ds" stands forwell, by now you should realise that i gave up usin’ the whole capitalisation shit. i guess, it doesn’t give out a personal feel to my xanga. it really ruins the whole theme and feel to the blog. besides i reckon i can still improve on grammar and spellin’ without this shit.
i saw some lil’ girl with a ds just before. how much people actually own this console handheld? i saw a guy up on the way to tafe playin’ on his nintendo ds, he look like he was near the same age as me, if not, older. i only have a ds since the final fantasy series took a massive remake exclusively on that system (which are final fantasy three and final fantasy four). plus the fact that the ds has few final fantasy spin-offs and sequels (titles bein’ final fantasy fables: chocobo tales, final fantasy twelve: revenant wings, final fantasy crystal chronicles: rings of fate and final fantasy tactics a-two: grimoire of the rift). then there are certain games that i couldn’t pass on too that’s not a final fantasy title, like sonic rush, sonic rush adventure, the world ends with you, and resident evil: deadly strike (which i know is just a port of the original playstation one version, and i prefer the gamecube remake, i got it just to collect. plus it was ten dollars brand new, how could you pass on that?). but other than that, i could pass on gettin’ a whole lot of titles. ds titles like mario kart ds, new super mario brothers, zelda: phantom hourglass. metroid prime hunters and certain other titles are worth playin’ but i could’ve done without. there aint much other ds games out there that’s worth the money. i could go through the whole ds section eb games store and not be satisfied with ninety-eight percent of the games. seriously. but i aint flamin’ the whole ds library. other than the one mentioned, ive come across a game once in a while that’s worth gettin’. some to mention are brothers in arms ds (which is a massively fun game, and not only that, the graphics compared to other games took me by surprise), ninja gaiden: dragon sword (which isn’t to my surprise since every ninja gaiden game is worth gettin’) jump ultimate stars, izuna: the legend of the unemployed ninja (which i crave to get, this title is must). game like professor layton and the curious village, warioware touched, bust-a-move ds, elite beat agents, rune factory: a fantasy harvest moon, tetris ds, ultimate mortal kombat are great games but they lose their practicality after a few gameplays. and then there are games like disgaea one and space invaders extreme which are money worthy games, but since the exact same game is on playstation portable, theres not much sense on gettin’ it on ds. it feels like ive mentioned a whole of games. not incudin’ the few that’s only worth playin’ a few times and nintendo titles which is only worth gettin’ to hold up the collection (maybe the exception for zelda: phantom hourglass), theres only thirteen games i recommend or the one i want. one could argue that’s more than enough for one person to have when ownin’ a ds. but the point is that the console handheld has soo much more games out there, and thirteen are only worth spendin’ money on? so what ‘bout the psp? so what do i recommend on that system handheld? titles i would recommend are; crisis core: final fantasy seven, metal gear solid: portable ops and it’s plus counter-part, final fantasy tactics: the war of the lions, final fantasy one and final fantasy two (which seems like unfair to the argument, since theyre remakes but not as good as the ds’ final fantasy three and four), sonic rivals and rivals two, metal gear acid one and two, any of the five games in the bleach: heat the soul series, tekken: dark resurrection, marvel nemesis: rise of the imperfects, either of the medal of honour games, either of the everybody’s golf games, disgaea; afternoon of darkness, grand theft auto: vide city stories (which can be argued to get on playstation two instead, but since the psp’s version is obviously handheld), metal slug anthology (‘gain the same goes this game too, since its handheld), both monster hunter freedom one and two), naturo: ultimate ninja heroes, the latest nba live game, silent hill: origins (since its handheld), any of the socoms, space invaders extreme, god of war: chains of olympus, and i’ll stop there. those are the must get games in my opinion, i still haven’t got to a list of “to a lesser degree” games (like for example, dynasty warriors volume two, street fighter alpha three max and gurumin: a monstrous adventure). to me there are a lot of titles compared to the ds. it feels like i am bias towards the psp to like ds. well, its just feel that the more better games are on the psp rather than the ds. and not only that, i feel like most ds games are not even heart hearted made. ive played spyro, tomb raider, marvel nemesis, iron man, harry potter and every single of those titles in their series on ds are all horrible games. i feel like there wasn’t any effort put into them games. and tomb raider comes up at seventy dollars retail. get fucked. seriously, that’s not funny at all. the fact that developers charge for a game soo poorly made. the psp has a number of titles which can be classified as half-hearted made and retailed amount, but those title ratio compared to the ds are lesser by a large amount. im hopin’ that the ds will eventually make up for its library containin’ some lackluster titles. but get me wrong, i would never throw anyway my nintendo ds, with titles like sonic chronicles: the dark brotherhood, kingdom hearts: three fifty-eight slash two days, chrono trigger (the super nintendo remake), izuna two: the unemployed ninja returns to name a few to look out for. the is a little excitedness to wait for each gamin’ month.
i know i know, im gonna get flamed for dissin’ the ds soo bad. but i cant figure out why a huge amount of ds are on the streets. i am, to be honest, embarrassed to play my ds outside of home… which can be stated that defeats the purpose of portability. i see the console as a more kids and female orientated system console handheld. but im basin’ this on the ds’ gamin’ library titles. where i want to point out that this is not a bad thing. the nintendo ds’ graphical power isn’t greater to the psp’s graphical capabilities, which some games don’t need. games like izuna, bust-a-move ds, warioware touched, pokemon pearl and diamond are all two-dimensional games, and which i would like to add is better off that way. but ‘gain i don’t understand why there is soo many guys playin’ the console. and also there are so many guys (not kids or chicks), on the net sayin’ that the ds is the best handheld console and that the psp is shithouse. i prefer the psp and feel that the handheld is better that the ds, but only because title-wise. if there were more titles worth gettin’, maybe then i wouldn’t be as embarrassed. because then its understandable to see more guys have this system out. im tryin’ to fill in the holes i felt that i left out, but im startin’ to think there are too many things i haven’t mentioned. so don’t take this as my full opinion. what do you guys think?
i didn’t realised yet, but i still haven’t written that ive taken a step more towards edge’s clothin’. can’t remember when, but i hit up basement up at myer and got myself new jeans (this time more darker than my usual), a pair of brown pants (which i used to wear all the time ‘till i ripped both of the two brown pants i used to have), shoes (they are white as. full leather and they look like somthin’ out of a hip-hop music video. damn), and two belts (which is good enough to compare to edge’s belt). ive combined these with some of black tops which has a cool design on it, and i was satisfied with my clothin’ combination for once in a long long time. i will update my chibi self-portrait soon enough.
aight i better head off.
video games im currently playin': guitar hero three: legends of rock (xbox three-sixty) and warioware (gameboy advance) dvd i currently seen: underworld, van helsing and dragon tiger gate tv shows currently watchin': sonic x and bleach eye candy of the moment: kate beckinsale // whatever, i still own a nintendo ds

| British Babe In HDI’ve got a little less than an hour to write, should be more than enough time to write, that is if I don’t get into the internet. But anyways, get the record books out, it’s the earliest xanga blog to date. Nine-thirty. Wow, even my first two xangas never got it to this early. And also, there’s a reason to why I haven’t been writing as much as of the late. But I won’t get into that, the main reason is to fact that I have a had a shit few days after my last xanga entry. It’s taking me awhile to jump back on the horse, but I made it eventually.
But now, back to the good ol’ RJ shit. So what’s the shit of the late? Sometime last week when I felt like shit, I felt the need to watch one of my all-time favourite movies. Y’know, to get some of that weight shit out of my chest for the moment. Though it wasn’t the one to get my shit completely off, it was a great watch none-the-less. Then again, it’ll always be a great watch no matter what. For anyone who hasn’t seen or even heard of this movie, I suggest you go out now and watch Serendipity right now. Why? Because it’s one the few feel good movies that will make you cry twice by the end of the movie, and in a good way too. Anyways, fast forward couple of days or a week (I’m not sure, whichever I guess. It doesn’t really matter) and I found myself trying to choose a DVD to play while I play Diablo (which I will get to within this blog). And I eventually found a couple of movies to watch, but in the end I ended up watching one movie only. The movie was Van Helsing. The next morning, I found myself in a similar situation to last night. I guess, its coz I had fun that night before, I wanted to do it again. This time, I managed to fit two movies instead of one. But the first movie I put on was Underworld. Now, someone who’s seen all three, or even just two, of the movies mentioned should see the link to every movie. Its not a big brain tickler…
Obviously, all three movies have a familiar face. And a quite hot one I do may add. Yes, it is, the lovely Kate Beckinsale. I watched three of her movies over the last few weeks, and now I've hit the Beckinsale hype. To be all about Final Fantasy, to be all about Metal Gear Solid, to be all about Diablo (again, which I will get to in a moment), to be all about Kate Beckinsale… feels kinda strange since there’s not much really to say. Last night, I was all over the net looking up interviews and gossip about her. But it’s not the same as trying to find shit and trying to hunt her stuff out. Something like that though I still don’t think that makes sense. Anyways, but don’t get me wrong. I still tried finding games that featured her in it, and as bad as it sounds, I found two. One of which I had, but sold it due to the fact that it has a horrible horrible game. So bad, that no, that isn’t a mistake. I intentionally wrote ‘horrible’ twice. I bought it only to the fact that you play as Kate Beckinsale’s character in Underworld. Obviously, the game being Underworld. Now I want this game back, for the same reason. I have a feeling that I’m gonna make the same mistake. The other, of which Kate has been digitalised in for a video game, is another movie adaptation, but this time the movie being Van Helsing. Though this time around, you don’t play as the hotness that is Ms. Beckinsale. But since this game is Xbox 360 backwards compatible, why wouldn’t I want Kate Beckinsale on a next-gen console? Even if it’s a last-gen game hahaha. Man, I could stare at this picture all day long But how much does this British babe look stunning? I read on somewhere that she isn’t the biggest on self-image. Apparently, Beckinsale isn’t satisfied on the way she looks. I reckon that not a single one of her fans would agree on her thoughts, because it is for a fact that there is millions of guys who would love to get piece of her. Anyways, since I plan to grab a Playstation 3 sometime within this month, I got myself looking forward to Blu-Ray. Now, at the moment, the current list of titles I want to grab when I get a Playstation 3 are: Casino Royale, the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy, all the Marvel films, and a few more. These movies, though already owning a few titles on DVD, I would love to get due to the wowness. Those who haven’t experienced the greatness of Blu-Ray yet would think that Blu-Ray isn’t worth getting if the same movie is on normal DVD and with a cheaper price. But then again, that’s like saying; It’s no point of getting the Playstation 3 version of a game if the same game is on Playstation and on a cheaper price. Do you know how stupid that sounds? For people who want to experience just the movie or game, yes maybe it’s not stupid. But when you have the next-gen shit to run it, why the hell wouldn’t you? For people who love movies and games, Playstation 3 and it’s Blu-Ray are one to look out for. Now, how does this connect with Kate Beckinsale? Well, if you haven’t realised what I’m trying to get at now, lemmie put it like this for you: Kate Beckinsale, hotness, Blu-Ray, high definition, Kate Beckinsale doing a full on sex scene in Underworld: Evolution with absolutely no clothes on in a huge screen LCD television in HD. I want a Playstation 3 right now. Not because of the games, but the hotness of Kate Beckinsale. Just thinking of it, ergh, I can’t stand it. I just want it now. It’s that worth it. I’m gonna drool forever until I get that shit. Anyways, I better move on before I end up writing how much Kate Beckinsale is hot for the rest of this blog. I still got two weeks worth to write about. But yeah, there are penty of Blu-Ray titles that Kate is in. But some like The Aviator and Pearl Harbour, though more HD Beckinsale, I will skip upon. I’m not too much into those type of titles. But others like Vacancy and Click, are ones I will get. Vacancy yes, Click not as much since I hated the ending. Ick. But my top three favourite Kate Beckinsale movies? Serendipity, though Kate Beckinsale has her best performance here, plus I mentioned how much this movie is awesome at the start of this blog. High definition isn’t a requirement of it. This movie has been out for quite some time, and besides I first saw this movie on VHS. Seriously, how do you convert a VHS film into high-def? Next, the Underworld movies. I own the first, but I would rather the British Vampire Serene in high-def Blu-Ray quality. Plus, Kate’s nakedness hotness. Yeah, you already know. The last one, the one I mention above, Van Helsing would make a great addition to the few Blu-Ray titles I want. Though one problem. It didn’t get released on Blu-Ray. Shattered after researching, I found out that Van Helsing got onto HD-DVD instead of Blu-Ray. HD-DVD? For all those who were clueless with Blu-Ray, most likely don’t even know what the hell HD-DVD is. Well, it isn’t as popular, it’s the Xbox 360 equivalent to Playstation 3. Which would make sense, since the Playstation 3 has a built in Blu-Ray player (then which that would make sense, since Playstation 3 games are made onto Blu-Ray disks) and the Xbox 360 has a HD-DVD component. But the high-def movies wars ain’t the same as the high-def gaming war, no not by a long shot. While both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3 both stand strong, the Blu-Ray has nearly everything going towards it as it feels like the DVD has a few years before its due, as to HD-DVD which is upon gasping for it’s last few breaths before its dying demise. It’s been mentioned on the news all over the place that HD-DVD is dead. Where movie giants like Warner Bros have pulled out from HD-DVD, stopping production for the video format last month. Titles have been decreasing, and only a few titles were released on may this year, and even more less just last month. Even the Xbox 360 HD-DVD external drive has drastically reduced on price, the cheapest being $5 on K-Mart somewhere in America. Damn. Though, rumours have it that HD-DVD will be resurrected in China (rumours says as CH-DVD), it’s still faces the facts that HD-DVD has died. So Van Helsing on Blu-Ray isn’t too much just to dream for. But I still can’t wait for Beckinsale to make more films. The more films she makes, the more Blu-Rayed Beckinsale hotness. Woot.
Argh, the computers here in RMIT are fucking worst than being capped at home. The internet soo slow, I would rate this worst than dial-up. Hell, I can’t load up any single page.
It’s now eleven thirty, it took me two whole hours to write more than one thousand five hundred words about Kate Beckinsale, Blu-Ray, and the death of HD-DVD. Wow, and I was supposed to write for an hour about the shit I did the last two weeks. By-the-way, the last two weeks were my mid-year holidays. I pretty much did nothing but sleep, play Xbox 360 (Guitar Hero 3 mainly), do shit for my birthday, and visit my girlfriend. Seriously, that seriously sums up to weeks. And to my surprise, I bought no new games whatsoever. There’s usually a new game that pops up because I want it so much at the moment, but seriously, there has been nothing new.
Ergh, no matter where you go when you get to the city (or even on the way to the city), there’s always one person who’s got their music soo fucking up enough for me to reckonise that fucking song. It’s soo fucking annoying. No, I don’t want to listen to your music. If I did, I would get out my fucking iPod and listen to that shit. Do you want to listen to my shit? No, I didn’t fucking think so. Ergh, some people seriosuly are asking to be deaf when they’re thirty. Why would you want to damage your ears? People who listen to their music that loud are fucking the same as people smoking like every moment they can. Did you know people kill themselves by hooking up the exhaust pipe via hose into the inside of the car and locking themselves in. Turning on the car and taking in all the fumes. That’s suicide. So tell me, what’s the difference to smoking? Other than the fact that it takes longer to kill yourself? I don’t care if you smoke, just don’t fucking take me down with you.
There’s a reason why I’m writing different to the way I usually have my xanga format. It’s because after a small chat with my sister about careers, career pathways, and just shit with me at the moment. I’ve given up on the path leading to either Psychology and Gaming Design. Though I wouldn’t mind still getting a job in either career, I found that my passion and my skills would be better off in writing. Thanks to Pags for making me realise this. The fact that I write and play games all the time, wouldn’t be a bad decision. Plus, getting paid to pay games before they given come out, hell get even playing any game and get paid for it. Fuck off, that’s soo worth trying to hit up. So I’ve decided to aim for that by starting now. Hopefully, the more I time in this format will help me improve my spelling and grammar. Though through MSN and other friend network sites, I will continue to use my trademark writing format.
Anyways, time for the gaming news, the daily update of RJ’s gaming life. As you know by now, the hype is Kate Beckinsale, but last hype was a game and soo is the current hype for the gaming world. And no, it isn’t Metal Gear Solid. Last week, I found out that a new game was coming out. But usually it’s either a Xbox 360 game or Playstation Portable game, to lesser degree a Wii game, a DS game, Playstation 3 game, to even more lesser degree a Playstation 2 game. But near to never would I get excited about a PC game. For that, if a PC game did come out, I would wait until it went budget price or get a copy from some I knew. I wouldn’t grab a PC game from it’s release date. This game is game way different. This game is Diablo 3. I was up on the moon when I found out Diablo 3 was announced. I found out four days after it was announced and all over the net. Ever since then I have been ecstatic about Diablo all over again. Diablo has been my first PC game love. The first PC game I bought. I remember when I bought this monster of a game, I remember having the huge box that PC games used to come in. They were a size of a encyclopedia or something like that shit. But yeah, this game took me to the PC gaming world hard. It was the shit. I made a tribute to Diablo last Friday to try and finish the very first Diablo game. I wanted to try and finish it as fast as possible, and legit too (yeah, I remember cheating on that game using trainers to spawn over-powerful weapons that would kill the final boss in like one blow). Well, on a course of two days due to fatigue and shit I had to do, I finished it in ten hours. Fuck. If have played this game to the very end, you would know that when you get two-thirds into the game, the game fully fucks with your head. Though it’s a simple hack and slash dungeon game, you’re faced seriously with vast amounts of demons or monsters or whatever they are shooting whatever they can at you. May it be, magical bolts, or lightning, or could be acid (which not only hits you and burns your life, but splashes onto the ground so that you step on it a take damage that way), or lava, or just plain arrows. And no, this ain’t a few at a time, oh no it ain’t. It’s twenty to thirty at once. So in a matter of a seconds, you have one hundred bolts shooting you. What’s worst is that chose to be a warrior and to wield an axe. No shields or projectiles coming from me. So After taking a barrage of hits from the enemy, I finally take one swing at one monster. Hmm. And after a few another barrage I take another swing. Seriously, this game fucks your head in. Especially, when you play it straight into the night and come face-to-face with Diablo itself at one in the morning. You have someone twice as big, mauling the hell outta you with another thirty of his minions throwing everything they’ve got at you. Fuck. But I did it, I finished Diablo. And all I need to do now is to start playing Diablo 2. Which I would do, but it’s hard to start a game that you haven’t even got. I know I know, it’s sounds fucked up how I rant about how good this game is, that it’s soo fucking awesome that I have to get it on the first day… yet, I still haven’t got the second. Yes, I am a fuck bag. Anyways, this is the game I am currently hunting for. Now I could head into any EB store and find out it in the PC games section. But no, I don’t want to do that. I want the Diablo Battlechest, which contains Diablo (which I already have, but it’s worth having twice), Diablo 2, the expansion pack for Diablo 2, the strategy guide book for Diablo 2. Seriously, EB has it for $69.95 and with the half price shit they have on at the moment, that’s $35 for all the current Diablo shit. Wow. I’d get that, so I want that. But no matter where I go, it’s no where to be found. What the fuck, seriously, how is that possible? But apparently, the Melbourne Central EB told me that they were gonna get them in next week. Is that even possible?
Anyways, I really should stop before I kill you guys from over-reading. I’ve nearly hit the three thousand word mark. And it’s exactly twelve thirty, three hours since I started this. Fuck, I have been at this computer for ages. Aight, time for lunch and Diablo hunting.
