| Just the time I think that I'm at peace with the world thats mine,
I feel at ease I feel at home and I know I'm not alone,
then in my rest there comes a test that shakes me til again I know,
that what I've had is not enough and again I've got to grow
Lord I want to know you more,
deep within my heart I want to know you,
Lord I want to know you
and I would give my final breath,
to know you in your death and resurection
Lord I want to know you more,
Lord I want to know you more
The full supply I find as I move closer to the heart of God
to strengthen me, to nourish me, and to fill ym mind with Him
I've truly grown but even so my hunger hasnt gone away
Still I long Still I thirst to know you more each day
Lord I want to know you more,
deep within my heart I want to know you,
Lord I want to know you
and I would give my final breath,
to know you in your death and resurection
Lord I want to know you more,
Lord I want to know you more

| Some of you have truly been brought by God to believe in Jesus. Yet you
have no abiding peace, and very little growth in holiness. Why is this?
It is because your eye is fixed anywhere but on Christ. You are so busy
looking at books, or looking at men, or looking at the world, that you
have no time, no heart, for looking at Christ. No wonder you have
little peace and joy in believing. No wonder you live so inconsistent
and unholy a life. Change your plan. Consider the greatness and glory
of Christ, who has undertaken all in the stead of sinners, and you
would find it quite impossible to walk in darkness, or to walk in sin.
Oh, what low, despicable thoughts you have of the glorious Immanuel!
Lift your eyes from your own bosom, downcast believer - look upon
Jesus. It is good to consider your ways, but it is far better to
consider Jesus. Oh, believer, consider Jesus. Meditate on these things.
Look and look again, until your peace flows like a river. - Robert

| I have recently been convicted of how apathetic I am towards my own
sins. I've been focusing for the past few months on making my Christian
walk more real, but I still have put too much emphasis on what I do. I
forgot that as a sinful man I can't do anything apart from the grace of
God. Its all the Holy Spirit working through us. Its gotten to the
point where when I do sin its a problem that I can fix if I just apply
more willpower, but thats so wrong. The result is that when I do sin
and I do way too often I dont go back to Jesus as the only one who can
rescue me from its horrible power in my life, rather I just
apathetically dont care or I use any number of excuses to just write it
off and run away. That leads to more sin and like a cycle I get stuck.
By myself I can get nowhere. I have to remember to constantly surrender
and pray for future grace that is already promised to me. Thats the
only way to beat this thing, Why is surrender so simple and yet so
hard...?

| To quote a friends profile, "True Love is dating someone for six months
and feeling the same way when you look at them that you did when you
first saw them... ". Is this what America has come to? True Love is
looking at the ugliest most disfigured person on earth while theyre
cursing at you and kicking you and spitting in you're face and ahving
the compasion to die for them even though they never loved you... True
Love is what Jesus did on the cross for sinners. when will we learn...
If you love someone dont give them six months of youre time give them
your life. every aspect, every corner, every impulse of your being and
yearn for their joy as your highest priority, even above your own
life... thats Love
