It is finals time again.  Both a time of dread and relief.  Dread for the ordeal; relief that it is almost over.

I cannot wait for this semester to end.  I am taking some time off to travel.  I have worked incredibly hard this semester and have earned some time to myself.

You know, we just do not realize how good we have it until some tragedy happens like what just took place at Virginia Tech.  I just cannot put into words the thoughts and emotions that are swirling around in my mind. 

We are all affected in some way or another.  At my own college here in Louisiana, the security is tightened.  How long will this last?  No one knows.  All over the country, lives changed. 

And they didn't change for the better either.

It is Friday morning and I wish it was Friday afternoon.

Wednesday night, a friendly game of "strip poker" with some buddies.  It was fun.  Soft core though.

Thursday night, a friendly but more competitive game of "strip poker" with those buddies plus one new player.   It was a "hard core" night.

Friday morning, I walk into LC Library, having never been home since I left Thursday, in my same clothes, no shower, no shave, pretty rough looking I am sure.  You know what I am talking about.....

Some chick who wants to be my fag hag (I refuse to have fag hags, not my style) walks up to me and says I look like shit.  I reply "all nighter".  She says "bet some boy is sore this morning" and I reply "2" and walk off.

So the rumors will start.   Such is the life of a stud....LOL

Just got out of Physics test....Grrrrrrrrrr

I am afraid my 4.0 this semester is now officially in jeapardy.  I know one B out of 6 classes isn't shameful, but it could affect me getting in Law School.  I will just have to wait and be patient and find out how bad I did on this exam.  I feel like I didn't do very well.  What is disconcerting is that I have studied valiantly and really feel I know this material.

If this were a Friday, I would go drown my sorrows.  But it is only the front half of the week so I need to get a grip and focus on my other classes.

When I am in a better mood, I will come back to Xanga and post some of my usual cheery stuff.

Sunday night, baby sitting my little brother and sister for Mom.  I had never seen this show on NBC called "Deal or No Deal".  It is kind of entertaining.  From there to Apprentice which I hear is not as good as it once was.  WOW, television sure has changed since I once watched it every night.  Maybe I am more grown up or something.  It is just, as a whole, too slow paced for me.  So that is my Sunday night off from studying....babysitting and television.   So much for the average family with wife, kids, white picket fence.  Give me the gay life anytime. Those straights just don't know what they are missing.
