Wow! it's been a while: Pinstripes opened on April 30th. It was a crazy opening - but we've been getting a pretty good response from the community (ie. business is good). If anyone ever wants to visit, please do! I get lonely with all these crazy people. I got a promotion. I was 'Server Trainer' before, and now I am 'Training Manager'. My job hasn't really changed much - I still work about 70-75 hrs a week. But at least I get benefits and stock options ... I will be getting LASIK done next monday (July 16). Very nervous, but because of the stress from work, my blood vessels were popping .. ew, gross, I know. I still attend Willow Creek Northshore Campus. I love it. I've been thinking about how easy it is to be 'Christian' around other Christians. But it's the hard life that's difficult. Wedding is coming up on Sept 22. I am very behind (thanks to dave won for reminding me). Invitations have not been sent out yet, flowers not picked out (my bad, grace), honeymoon not booked, and hotel rooms not reserved. Yes - very behind. But that's okay. I figure we have the pastor and the church. that's all we need, right? that's it! |
