| SkilletSkillet was awesome. No one ever thought that it would be possible to bring in a big group like Skillet to LU, but we did it. It was a lot of work, but it paid off gloriously. Sad note, TFK was unable to play our show due to illness. But, Decyfer Down and Skillet rocked the house. Also, I got to meet them and whatnot, so that was exciting. They are all really cool and nice. I love doing concerts. |

| The Mercy Me/Audio Adrenaline/Aaron Shust concert was amazing! I got to work the show, so I showed up at the Lobo coliseum at 8:30, helped put the stage and rigging together. That is a ton of work! The show was good. I was able to do some set changes and things during the show, so that was fun to see the behind the scenes magic. They all put on a tremendous show for a sold-out arena and it was a great show.

| So I came home from church this afternoon to find the below:

Apparently my next-door neighbors, with whom I share a common wall are being "Quarantined". I am not sure if I should be worried or what?
I think it is just a joke, but you never know...

| Who knew??Who knew that learning could be so much fun and so cool. The fact that I am writing this instead of studying is bad, but I had to write this. Anyway. I am learning about the Nervous System in IVAP and in the lab book it describes how sight works. It says:
The large optic nerves cross, forming the optic chiasm, before entering the base of the brain. In the chiasma, some fibers of one nerve turn and proceed with fibers of the other crossing nerve. Thus, visual information coming from one eye distributes to both sides of the brain. Wow! That is so cool! I cannot imagine how some people, especially scientists, believe that this happened all by chance through evolution!
...anyway back to the studying... |
