| had a company mid - winter lunch today with Jay at Aquamatta, an Italian restaurant. My first proper Italian meal. We had 11 dishes , 6 entrees ( couldnt believe they were just entree), "Italian wonton" ( dont know the names of any dishes),Italian rice, fish ( the fish was huge and it got a whole lemon in its mouth), lamb and dessert. It took 3 hrs to finish the whole thing. By the time when we finished our entrees, we were quite full and the food was just kept coming.
First impression for Italian food was pizza and pasta only , but it wasnt true. When i saw the table, the first thing came to my mind was "Well, so many glasses." Wine glass, champagne glass, water glass. there was three glasses for each person . After i sat down, the waiter ( a charming Italian guy, looks so attractive, tall with dark hair)kept pouring champagne into my glass, my face just got red straight away and the heater was on the top of me, so hot ar~~Afterward, three hrs non- stop eating.....By the way, Aquamatta is one of our customers, so the chef has done some dishes especially for us.
I feel so sorry to the person who does the dishes, because everytime when we finished a course ,our plates will be taken and give us a new one . There were 20 of us and 6 courses in total, that's mean there were 120 plates needed to be washed and plus all the glasses,which is 60 glasses plus 20 red wine glasses, so 80 glasses in total , and each of them need to be polished...omg, i cant image how hard it is going to be ...The other thing i found interesting was this restaurant have 150 wine but only 1 beer. It got wine from Italy, French, Spain, Argentina, NZ and Australia, but only 1 beer from Australia, unbelievable ar.
Anyway, good italian experience and Tash and Mike were so funny ar~~

| the weather in auckland was awful, in the past few days, it was cold,hailing, heavy rain and strong wind...
today, we wanted to have hot pot , but ar kit needed to work , so we decided to use the rice cooker to have hot pot at home. the rice cooker took long time to boil, but better than none
