Haven't posted in a while, feel I probably should. School starts Wednesday and I got to school yesterday. I'm looking forward to seeing all my friends but not looking forward to beginning school.

Things are going well with me. When the new year rolled around I was at my Aunt's house playing Halo with Stacey and drinking sweet tea. Had a great time at Christmas seeing most of my family and getting to meet almost all of the rest of Stacey's. I think I was rather well accepted. I had a lot of dental work done which kind of sucked but I knew I needed it since I hadn't been to the dentist in like a decade.

Stacey got her wisdom teeth out. Poor girl was really hurting but there was a problem. Thankfully she got it fixed today. It makes me feel helpless when she's hurting and there's nothing I can do about it ya know?

Okay, things have been crazy so I haven't had much time to update in the past month or so other than the news about the engagement 2 weeks ago. Things are still crazy but I'm at work and figured I should probably go ahead and do this now while it's on my mind.

Stacey and I were engaged on Tuesday, Nov 15. We've set a date for August 5, 2006 at Sachse Church of Christ in Sachse, TX. I've asked somebody that I got to know over the summer in Greece to perform the ceremony, he just has to talk to his wife.

I took care of next fall's housing deposit and application to get into West Married's yesterday. Currently I have to work on my Graphic Design final which is a huge pain in the butt, a GUI project that hasn't fully been explained yet, there's going to be a project assigned in OOP today probably, the video game I'm working on as a personal project is coming along - we're short on artwork at the moment (most of our artists are extremely busy) but the game engine programming is coming along nicely, I have to work on getting a guest list done for the wedding along with all the other wedding stuff, and I've done research on video game development companies to apply for internships for for this upcoming summer which I have to do about 20 cover letters for.

So yeah, crazy time.

By the way, please keep Kris in your prayers, her father is going into surgery soon and one of her friends back home was murdered a couple days ago.

dunno if it's just stress or what but I've been feeling like crap. Maybe a combination of both mental burnout and being physically sick at the same time? Maybe one causing the other? I dunno.

Club stuff done for the week, now it's all class projects and homecoming weekend stuff.

Howdy howdy! Sorry I haven't updated in a while but as with the entire semester I've been busy as can be. Chapel was nice, got to see Stacey up on stage, vote for her everybody! (not that I'm partial or anything )

This upcoming weekend is going to be even more busier since I'm participating with Stacey in the homecoming festivities, plus some of Stacey's family is going to be here. I'm also very much NOT a musical-going type person but I've agreed to accompany Stacey to 'Beauty and the Beast' (yup, I'm going, happy Katie?).

The game is coming along pretty nicely I think, Jon's getting the GUI stuff down and Brad's working on the infrastructure of the programming. I've got some character models up on toolkitzone and deviantart, probably not final product but it's a start. I'm about to order a few books in order to learn MAYA, which I think should help a lot.

My grades are halfway decent I guess. GUI is hard since I'm having to self-teach most of the stuff (no matter how much the man talks, nothing sticks in my brain). OOP is awesome, File Structures is good, definitely useful, Graphic design is bleh, I hate it so I think I'm changing to a regular art minor instead of graphic design...but we'll see, and Pentateuch I'm doing rather well although there's this hot chick that sits next to me that is quite distracting

Please keep my family in your prayers, Nanny died. 3rd family member in less than 2 month period and all on my dad's side. I know also that a lot of the GATA girls have some really crappy stuff going on in their lives, but know that it's just another one of those times where we all band together, share the load, and lift it up to God.
