| What a week!
The boys put me to a breaking point! Holy Cow! We are definitely testing the limits!! I survived it. I would love to rest this weekend, but that isn't going to happen. I have to do the newsletter for the twins club and I have only done the first page... of 20 pages plus... Ugh. It's ok... I'll get it done, I will just be exhausted come Monday! Oh and Sunday I have nursery duty so I will be even more tired from that... nothing like 10 one year olds to liven up a room.
Tonight I had a craft evening, and that was a lot of fun. I do wish I had found a group with people my age. LOL they are all late 30's or mid 40's. Then none of them are perfectionists like mine and then oooh and ahhh over mine and then tease me for being so good. (Even though it isn't I'm good, I just pay attention to more details.) So, that was my evening.
My brain has been so scattered lately. I think I am tired of being a stay at home mom. I mean, I love being here with the boys, but after 5 years, I am a bit worn out!! I think when all three are in school here in a few weeks, I will feel a bit better with getting a break... 11:30 to 3:30... NO KIDS!!! That's 4 hours!! I will be able to run errands or sit and watch my house NOT get messy!! LOL I am excited about this new phase of our family... though, with all these adorable babies being born here and at church and a few other friends are pregnant, I keep thinking about babies.... I remind myself that I am TIRED but I see a fresh little one and I just want one. I can't help it! hehehe
Well, it is almost midnight and I was just typing to try and make myself tired so I will go right to sleep. It is nice to sit here in the dark in a quiet house...
Well, I am not talking about anything of substance... I might try and post again soon though.
oh,
CONGRATULATIONS to the MURPHY FAMILY!!!! Caden is GORGEOUS!!!!
| Well, I think we are going to be getting the kids new beds this week. (I know, just on a whim like that.)
Drew has a full size bed but the twins took it. We had two toddler beds, but Drew is in one of them because he can't get in his bed. The twins like sharing.
We went to Big Lots (ours has furniture to my surprise) and we were looking at beds... Well they were cheap, but more expensive than I wanted to pay. So, we looked around and came across futons. Well, when I think of futons, I think of thin, uncomfortable beds. Well, there was one there that looked kind of nice. We sat on it... hmmm... this is really comfortable!! Looked at the price... under $300... That's not bad!

Now, we are trying to decide, should we buy 2 or 3.... Because when they lay out, they are about a full size bed, so the twins could share. But then I might not be able to find another one like it when we need three... then I thought, well the twins can keep these two and we can get Drew another bed later.... decisions.
I think I am going to go and get them different color blankets... like dark red, navy, and olive... then get throw pillows that all coordinate. ?? What do you think? What would you do?

| It's funny, I hear people complain about how their kids talk to much and won't 'shut up' and I ache a bit because it is so hard to have a conversation with Drew because of his autism. I know a lot of people don't understand autism but there are as many kinds of autism as the kids that have them. NONE are the same. That is why it is so hard to treat! Well, he has been doing so much better lately!! He wants me to read to him, which he hated before. I feel like he had to learn english twice.. once when he was a baby and then again after autism.
Oh, and I wanted to clear up with people telling me they want their kids to shut up. I have told Drew to stop making noises or whining, but I have never told him to stop talking. I love to hear him talk, but I get very annoyed with all of his sound affects. He is almost always making 'noise' and it is nice to hear him really really talking to me not just talking at me, but with me.
So, today, I decided I was going to clean the kitchen. So, I was taking all the medicines off the shelf and needed a container. I couldn't find one and just used an old Easter basket.
Drew walks bye and then stops and looks at me. He says, " Mom, are you looking for Easter Eggs?"
I said, "No Drew. Mommy needed a basket to put the medicines in, and this was all I could find. "
He looked at me and said, "are you sure Mommy?"
I said, "yes honey. Easter is over. It's summer time now and Easter is in the spring."
He said, "Oh. Why?"
I said, "Well, Easter is just in the spring. That's when we celebrate Jesus dying and resurrecting, remember?"
He said, "oh ok." Then he paused and said, "What are you doing?"
I laughed and said, "I'm cleaning."
He said, "Why are you cleaning?"
I said, "Because it's dirty."
He said, "Why is it dirty?"
I said, "Because Mommy hasn't cleaned it."
He said, "Why haven't you cleaned it?"
I said, "Because we've been busy."
He said, "Why have we been busy."
LOL I just went over to him and said, "I am going to give you a hug because you are so funny and I love you. Mommy is just trying to get the kitchen clean so it looks nice."
He said, "oh ok. I'm going to go play now."
He is just so cute. But I think we entered the major Whys now. I know there might be a day when this will annoy me, but I love it!!

| Hello... I know, no pictures yet... I'll get there.
I was looking up some info and went to my old xanga site and found a funny post...

Besides the picture, I still have this problem. I think Michael and I yell, "OUT OF THE KITCHEN," at least 50 times a day! It is very annoying! hehe
