| We found her! She was hiding under the grandfather clock being perfectly silent for almost 9 hours. What a crazy kitty. Now she is under my bed.

| So my sister and I adopted a 1 year old kitten (black and white, so cute!) from the humane society today. But, we sort of didn't tell my parents, and when we brought her home, my mom flipped out. A lot. She started screaming and told us we couldn't keep her because she wouldn't look after her (not that we asked her to). Now she's in her room sulking cause we yelled back at her.
I can't wait for my dad to get home. We're pretty much fucked. But we aren't giving her up. We just have to find out what to do withe her when we're gone for the summer (my sister and I are working at OWL white water rafting all summer, and I'm going to portugal for July). Maybe we can bring little Zelda with us (hahaha yeah, that's her name)
God. Fucking parents.
Edit:// Well my mom isn't mad anymore and she came and saw Zelda. Although my brother knows now and he is sorta pissed. Why can't everyone just be nice.

Edit, again: I leave for two nights and already my family lost Zelda. My sister thinks my mom got rid of her by letting her outside. My sister had her in her room, went downstairs to get food, my mom went out to hang up laundry, and next thing my sister knows, the cats gone from from her room and the whole house. My mom says she didn't see Zelda run out but who knows. She's been gone for almost 6 hours now, we've looked everywhere.
I didn't even get to be with her for a full day, she doesn't even recognize us enough to find her way back home. I don't even have a picture of her to make posters with!
Goodbye little one, I hope you survive in the wild. I'm going to miss you.

| Hm. It appears I am now a Chinese Snow Monkey. Do such things even exist? I found a Japanese Snow Monkey on google, and those things are realllly ugly, let me tell you.

| Sometimes I find that I like books a little too much. Like in class this year we were studying a book and I had forgotten to bring it to class (a tutorial) and everyone else had it. I was looking over at other peoples books during the class and it looked like so nice a book that I had to run home after so I could start reading it. It wasn't an interesting book or anything, but the text and the paper just went well together. I don't know how to describe it. The book Darkwing is also a very attractive book. The print is a really nice style and size and the paper is beautiful, it makes me really want to read it. Plus, its a hardcover, which makes everything nicer. My favorite part of reading is when you first open a new book and you can feel the spine (especially on hardcovers) sort of cracking (even though i know its bad for it) so you try not to open the book very far so you wont ruin it. I like running my finger down the page of the book because the texture of the paper is so nice. I always feel like books are so fragile when you first get them and I read so carefully so I don't hurt it. But with hardcovers I read carefully all the time, even if they are old. I always smooth down the page with my hand each time I flip a page, like it would fall to pieces if I wasn't gentle with it.
