| vacationfirst part of vacation is over as i have packed up my stuff and its all ready to go tomorrow when i leave dallas. i think i was here for about 12 days. it has certainly burned a hole in my pockets. so now i will go back to houston and reside and maybe work a couple of days that they have for me to keep me engaged in teaching. i also have a technology thingy i need to do this coming thursday the 19th. being here in dallas was nice...everyone still did their thing and still accomodated that i was here. i appreciate all that. it was very cool. i will be gone from here for about two weeks in time for me to go to vegas come back and go to a mathematics conference. i also saw a flyer that phong had in his car about our-10 year - reunion. even though i didn't get to hang out with everyone that i did. o well...i am tired now....so im goin to bed.

| donekids are done...grades are in...all i have to do is do my final checkout and i am finished. i will have my freedom for a whole two months and back to the grind.

| tired im exhausted and tired...only 8 more days of work til summer vacation...can't wait.

| count downwell its count down time. school is out on the 29th of this month. students come to school for another 15 days. i think i have 16 more days until school is out. TAKS is finally over but i am kind of nervous about the results. i am kind of scared of what will happen. results will come out probably the week right before finals and it will be a stressing time because grades will be due during finals. im afraid the students are already in break mode and i am just struggling to keep them motivated. i am ready for the break. i am not doing any summer school. i am just going to do my staff development and then try to enjoy the rest of the break.
i played in the faculty/student tourney the other day. we played a pro-set with no add scoring. i didn't like that when it became deuce that the serves go guy to guy and girl to girl. it gave an advantage in a way anyhow. we lost 8-5. but at least i didnt lose without winning a game. that was my only fear and i sort of had butterflies in my tummy.
i am missing prom this year even though i actually really wanted to go. the prom is at the aquarium. i will be going to dallas for a wedding. i will also miss celebrating mothers day. i have already given my gift. i think this is the first year i have missed since college.
i really need motivation to workout. i think this summer its time. so yeah, i think i am gonna focus on doing that someway. my joints arent holding up anymore. my knee needs some rehab to where it used to be and i need to strengthen my ankles so they arent so injury prone.

| crunch timebeen burnt out here. got another week of time crunch. TAKS is next week. cant wait til its over then i can relax and then focus on the people who pass my class. on my last entry...one of the seniors passed the six weeks and the other didnt. that doesnt put them in the clear tho. one needs to make an 88 and the other needs a 78 to pass for the year in order to graduate. thats a lot of work. after next week...there is a tennis tournament...i have no idea how to play tennis other than on the wii. the coach wanted me to replace my neighbor teacher who cant play cause he has a final exam on the first game day...then i find out today, the first student i wanted to play with, that her partner cant play cause he has a bball tourney out of town to coach for. so i dont kno. i told the coach that i wouldnt play unless i was coached on how to hit the ball cause i tried last week and everytime i hit the ball, it went high or over the fence. hehehehe. i need a drink. after this week and next week. in a couple of weeks im heading to dallas for another wedding reception and i think i may make it a 3-day weekend. i think i need and deserve the break.
