the dress:

i went to a wedding gown sale this past weekend. brides are crazy!!! they tried on one dress after another looking for THE perfect dress. don't they get tired? i sure did. i had to follow her every where carrying multiple ball room dresses, attending to her every beckoning, carrying her trail, looking after her stuffs, taking pictures of her in her dress, looking for her missing watch.... i can't even imagine the pain i have to endure at those two wedding days. yes...TWO!! i hope that the least she could do is not making me wear a stupid looking gown. and please do not make me wear pink. i have my eyes on this paloma blanca dress. anyhow...she found this really pretty dress at a ridiculously reduced price....its not a typical cinderella ballroom...but very vintage/victorian style. now we have to find shoe/accesories/tiara/veil.

every year around this month, i always fall into this pit of sadness wondering about the decisions i have made. i doubt my choices, ponder if i have made any mistake, wonder if i have missed any golden opportunity. majority of my friends seem to want a normal life, others still not sure with what they want. but for me, i seek for a meaningful life without regrets. i don't want to be the girl who chase around to fulfill one dream after another and miss the simplest and best experience in life. however, i slowy walk down this path unconsciouly. ever since i graduated college and started a full time job at cchp, i've stop shedding tears of personal emotional pain. my work becomes a part of me. i realize that i want to continue to be a glimmering hope for my clients. i know im not shakespeare or amy tan leavign behind eloquent expression of thoughts, nor will i want to be a doctor "curing cancer". but i can be katie letting others know that they are not forgotten. with this, my work will take me far from home, the dream of leading a normal simple life of tranquility, cups of hot tea, my friends, my city....and my family. 27. i give myself another 4 years to decide how i want to live this life. until then, i'll take my chances making mistakes. perhaps some regrests will be the best thing ever happened. i will continue to find tranquility in musics, and hope in literatures. im sure things will work out.

i forgot to put this up. it was taken a while ago. here is a picture with just us girls with the bride.

i was able to sneak in and capture an image of the couple .

it was a looong wedding but small and cute. I had to be there from 9am to 11pm. There were so many ceremonies.

i had an accident late last year while learning how to drive. it gave me quite a fright. and ever since, i refused to get back behind the wheel. this summer, i gathered all my courage and started to practice. so now...weeeeeeeeeeeee, after my first road test, im a little speedy demon with her NY license!!!

ps. i like highways and turns.

pps. the test wasn't so bad.
