With the recent launch of my new portrait website www.profinishportraits.com, there was a lot of preparation that went into even the smallest of details.
 I feel music completes the experience when viewing a website.  If you are one of those people that turn off the music or turn down the speakers, don't rob yourself of the full experience.  There is a reason a photographer (at least in my case) has chosen to add that element to their website.

My husband Robert is really into music.  He and his buddies are always talking about the latest band they discovered and different songs etc.,.  I don't have time, nor do I have the patience to go through myspace looking for cool Indie bands that don't suck.(lol)  He has fueled my interest to find musicians that I like and that reflect my style.  One way or another I have put together this list of totally awesome songsters and bands.  They totally rock!

Today was a typical, busy work day.  Multiple phone calls, many emails, lots of mouse clicking. etc., ..

I woke up to my husband saying "there is coffee waiting for you in the kitchen".  As I started my day and walked the 10 feet to my office (What a commute!) I started my morning routine of checking my many online networks.  To my pleasant surprise breakfast was brought to me and placed next to my keyboard.
Man am I spoiled! 
Don't get me wrong, I don't just love my husband because he is a good "housemaid". He is many things and takes good care of me.

He is truly my best friend.
I love our little home and our simple life.

Anyway.. all this love stuff aside..one thing led to another and I designed my wedding album today.

I debated whether or not to share it with everyone.. and I guess you know the conclusion.
Graphic designers beware: I am not a graphic designer.   This will most likely drive you crazy as it is probably hap-hazard.  Oh well.  It's my album.  Honestly though, I am open to any changes.. in fact the first page drives me crazy too.

Final product will be a 7x7 laminate stitched book bound Asuka Book.

*Funny little side note.. 1 year ago today Rob and I decided after 4 years of being together, it was time to get married.  In Hawaii no less.(There was no proposal. long funny story some other time.)
I didnt realize that til a minute ago and here I've been working on my album all day.

Buck is a music guru and loves to spend time at The Beat in downtown Sacramento. That is where we started our shoot! There are a lot of cool buildings and architecture in the area, we walked around for awhile and got some great shots!
