| Howdy!I am going to write this post as quickly as I can, because my tricky little modem might turn off at any moment! (Tech coming Monday to fix modem--I am hoping to be back on-line regularly soon!). A favorite site of mine is The Nester--and I was inspired to make a stick/feather arrangement similar to hers for my front porch:
It was so easy--and my inspiration happened to occur the week that feathers were on sale, half price, at Hobby Lobby. These feathers are fake, but the difference is not too obvious until you touch them, LOL! :) Hope to be back early next week! Hugs, Kat | | |
| Busy Week
We are going to VBS in the evenings this week. I like it being in the evening, but it really makes my days short! Yesterday ended up being kind of a hectic day--we went to the $1 movie at 10 in the morning and had lunch at McDonald's with friends. Lamb wanted to go to the teen activity at the library at 2:00, which left us less than an hour at home--not enough time to lay the little ones down for a nap; they ended up napping in the car while I dropped off movies, ran errands, and took advantage of the Starbucks drive-thru (Double-shot iced cappucino? Never again! Too strong= too wired!!). We had about an hour and a half at the house before we left for VBS, which lasted until 9:00. I spent most of my time chasing my two little guys between the nursery and the music room--I am hoping that tonight, the "new" will be worn off and they'll be a little more settled! On the way home from VBS, I called my friend Rebecca to chat and complain about how tired I was--and that I was sweating the entire time we were at VBS (I'm thinking, "Is it the church a/c or is it me?!"). She reminded me about that double-shot cappucino--BINGO. Even more reason to not have one of those again, LOL. Tonight I expect to leave VBS with dry hair... My modem is off and on--I am just going with the flow. It's helping me to limit myself on the computer, which is good for my household goals, LOL. But, it is a little frustrating when it turns off right in the middle of a paid survey...

| I am enjoying this blog:http://captivatingwoman.com/ I love to read blogs that inspire me: to be a better person, to be organized, or to learn various homekeeping tips! These are some of my favorite reading subjects~and, sometimes I will find a blog and go through the archives to glean every little bit. Today I have pretty much made a free-day~kind of resting from traveling and catching up on my favorite sites. This evening, I will wash our laundry from the past few days and straighten up the house...
