ok an update ... life has been crazy. i take care of my grandparents and work in a bar three nights a week running game shows.. i am also usually there other nights a week as it is a big family..

cris and i drove to el paso one weekend to see his family

we also have been having work done on the house

we had them move everything into the bedrooms and it was only supposed to be for 2 days.. 6 weeks later we finally got our rooms back

i am still alive.. just been super busy still wondering where a part time job fits in.. i will soon have internet access at home so that will be good also.. untill then.. me:)

ok so its been awhile again.. i am in Dallas permanently :) yeah i know shock of all shocks but i have some pics for you:)

these are the chickens before i left alaska.. they are the same ones from earlier...

this is don's new black lab.. isnt he handsome:)

on the way to anchorage i stopped at a wildlife refuge..

ok so its been all summer.. but i had a busy summer.. here is a brief look in pictures..

i went halibut fishing with my landlord paul and tom and jim from pennsylvania..oh and tashnee went also to help.. it was a nice quiet day..

unfortunately when we got out to the red x .. the tide was ripping too much so we had to wait out the tide..

paul decided to have a bite to eat and tashnee wanted some also..

after lunch it was time for a nap..

after the nap there was more waiting...

tashnee slept some more.. she was tired of waiting around

right after i went fishing i got asked to work a couple of 24 hour shifts at work.. this was the middle of July.. i ended up working till September.. i would go in wednesday morning and get off shift saturday afternoon.. i slept at work and played with the kids during the day..

we went to the pool and went swimming.. the pool is open year round so you can swim year round...

we live not far from the kenai river.. so we went fishing many days..

here are some random people fishing.. this was before the season really opened but people on the other side were catching fish left and right...

us we caught a small rainbow trout..

others caught a tan...

to prove there were fish in the river.. paul and kathy and james went dipnetting..

they caught lots of fish..

kathy even caught a king salmon in her dip net.. she was happy about it..

the kids and i went to the kasilof mercantile for dinner and they have this huge swing as you can see its pretty big....

near where the house i work is there is a field of bunnies.. here are a few pictures i took on my cell phone camera...

andi and i decided to go pick berries.. we got currants, red and yellow raspberries..

this last weekend i had a steel rod drop on my toe..

this is a picture i took in the emergency room with my cell phone..

status.. a shattered toe with 5 stiches.. oh and iv antibiotics.. which resulted in 2 more limbs hurting.. the guy missed the first time and left me with a 3 inch bruise.. so he moved to my hand on the other arm ... and left a bruise there also..

here i am with my foot up..

these were taken a few days afterwards .. its very painful..

4 of the stiches go across under the toenail and the other stich is on the side of my toe..

the toe next to it has skin scraped off and is bruised.

so thats been my summer... i will be in dallas for about a week starting on the 22nd..

so i was driving to work the other day and saw this on the side of the road.. its a moose and her baby..

last friday kathy and i went to the relay for life walk for cancer.. we stayed for a bit and walked for a while.. this is a small sampling of the bags that were lit they are in the shape of a heart and spells hope

this is the bag my landlord made for her coworker who is dealing with breast cancer right now

my good friend auditioned awhile back for a new reality show on abc.. he didnt make it but he is on one of the commericals that is being shown on abc.. i found the commerical and here it is
