Crossing my fingers!

I just turned in my request for a change in date for my economics final. My sister is graduating the same day I have to take my final. I am afraid that they won't grant my request. I didn't really think through my response to "reason for request" and I wrote something along the lines of my older sister is graduating from university in Belton, TX on the same day as the final and I don't want to miss either. I should have put how far away it is (almost 3 hours), the fact that I am riding the train since I don't have a car and I am sure, as I dwell on this some more over the next few days, I will come up with some other  important facts I left out. So, prayer and crossed fingers is all I can do. My teacher told me that she would add her own note to it saying that I am a good student and she doesn't see any problem with me taking it another day. If you have the inclination, good thoughts/vibes and prayer would be helpful.

Other than that, I finally finished Atonement the other day. Enjoyed it greatly. Was amazed at how well the movie was adapted from the book. For once I didn't love one or the other more they are both fabulous and incredibly alike. Now I am reading the last book in the Traveling Pants series (there are only 4). I wasn't suppose to work tonight but a friend needed a cover so I am working tonight but I still have Thursday off (YAY THE OFFICE) and Friday off. So far so good this week. The only thing standing in my way for complete happiness is this request and there isn't much I can do about it now. This may sound cliche but I am okay with that, I am putting it in God's hands knowing full well he will do as he sees fit.
