A good deal has happened since I last posted on here. There are lots of new things: new house, new (and old) roommates, new friends, etc. This new living situation has panned out to be great. I thought I'd be sacrificing peace, quiet, and solitude, and had gotten used to that idea, however I can still get those whenever I want, which is awesome. It's the way the house is spread out, and even without a door, my room is nice and secluded.

I've been really proud of myself lately. Also, hell froze over. But back on the first thing, I'm glad of what I'm turning into. I have a history of crippling self-doubt and other things, but here I am doing swimmingly. A year ago, when faced with a decision, I would've made my decision based on what people either a) wanted me to do or b) expected me to do. These are bad things to do. Do not do them. When approached with a situation now, I think to myself, "Hey Scott, what are you going to do about it?" A few times now, I've been quite impressed with my answers. I am not ashamed to say that for the first time in my life, I like who I am becoming.

Sam's wedding went great! And Michael's wedding is this weekend. I just realized that work did not give me the days off I needed, so if I can't get anyone to cover my shifts, I'm simply not going to show up to work. I'm in the wedding party, so I kind of have to be there.

Are we doing anything for the 4th of July?

I used to have long hair:

Tuesday, May 06, 2008

So before you go to sleep, here are some things to think about:

1) If I were to die right now, what would i leave behind?

2) If I were never born, what would be left unsaid?

3) If I were unable to say what I wanted, what would be inferred through my actions?

4) If the world were exactly as I wanted it to be, what would I have to say about the imperfections involved?

5) If the world were the opposite to what I desired, what would i have to say about what I received throug ht It?

Yeah, it's wold be good to think about these things at all times, to keep your brain grounded in reality and stuff. Don;t let your brain get old. Do a lot of stuff so that repetition won't make you go senile.
