Haven't updated in eons. Just checking in to let everyone know I exist and have a few very long, very passionate rants up my sleeve.

Last night, in the wee hours of the morning, before I retired to my room to watch "The Usual Suspects" (which, by the way, everyone should run out and rent), I was browsing a message board. It was exactly the same debate we're all used to seeing; it was a leftist/liberal (L) and a right-wing/reactionary (R) yelling at each other. Well, R says to L, "Enjoy 1984 when it gets here. You'll have brought it on yourself." This he says while arguing the strengths of the Bush administration. The very same Bush administration that put into effect the Patriot Act.
Isn't it ironic?
Dontcha think?

My New Years' Resolutions:

1) Get out more. Do more than sit around the house all day.

2) Become more active in issues that I care about.

3) Organize time better.

4) Save up and buy that guitar I've been wanting.

5) Actually learn to play it.

That's all.

I've been thinking about all these movies I've been wanting to make. They're all in my head, but I want to bring one into reality. It feels like these vague little glimmers of ideas are things that I can make really great. I don't want to make any big, classic blockbuster or anything (though it would be cool). I just want to make my vision into something I can see. But I doubt it'll happen any time soon.
